Is a fitness coach worth the money?

The biggest benefits of hiring a gym trainer, whether you're new to fitness or a seasoned pro, are accountability, motivation, and personalisation.

If you’re planning on private training sessions, your workouts will be personalised to your own goals and current fitness level. This means you’ll likely see better and faster results, than you would from joining large fitness classes or following a generic plan online. It’s about making every minute of your workout count.

For those new to fitness or worried about getting injured, a personal trainer is an invaluable asset. They will teach you proper form and technique, giving immediate feedback to correct your posture and ensure every movement is precise. If you have any existing injuries or medical conditions, be sure to mention them so you can be matched with an appropriately qualified trainer who understands your needs.

Is there a way to make personal training more affordable?

In short, yes. You’ll likely find that private personal training sessions are the most expensive because of the tailored nature of the approach. However, buying a package deal or paying for a number of sessions upfront may get you a discount. It’s worth discussing with your trainer once you’ve connected. Alternatively, group training sessions or an online PT might be a more affordable option if you’re looking for a cheap personal trainer in Cheshire.

How do you help your clients achieve their fitness goals?

By offering support, guidance, encouragement and by cracking the proverbial whip when it's needed.

Everyone is different. That's why personal training is always superior to generic bootcamps, crossfit and any other group exercise that you care to mention.

Many of my clients dislike public gyms and group classes, which is why they prefer the privacy of working with me in my exclusive studio.

What’s the secret to getting the body of your dreams?

Consistency.

In my experience, it is the number one reason why people succeed or fail.

What do you love most about your job?

Working closely with a wide range of people of all ages. At the moment, I have clients ranging from 25 to 74 and of all kinds of fitness levels and physical ability.

No two days are the same.

What inspired you to start your own business?

I'd wanted to become a PT for years, but I had a family to provide for, so I had to stay with my job in logistics management.

Unfortunately (fortunately?), I was made redundant on the back of the Rover Longbridge closure. It gave me the opportunity to start again with a clean slate doing something that I'd wanted to do for years.

Why should our clients choose you?

I've been a Personal Trainer & Massage Therapist for 15 years and I've worked in all kinds of fitness establishments (which is why I choose to work from my own studio now).

I have 57 years of life experience during which time I've raised three children. I know EXACTLY what it's like to juggle work and family and STILL try to fit in something for me. It always helps to have someone who's had the same experience as you.

I spent four years at college earning my qualifications. rather than the four weeks that most PT's seem to do these days (hence PT's being ten a penny at the moment).

What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?

As I work on a one-to-one bases, it makes cleaning equipment between clients much easier than it is in a public gym, with members using the same equipment.

All equipment used is sanitised between sessions ans there is ample supply of hand sanitiser and wipes for you to use.

I also keep a track and trace record for each session.
