A Manchester based coach and facilitator with a passion for supporting people achieve balance and fulfillment in their work and life. I work with a wide range of clients to help them achieve their goals, clarify direction and take control. I also create training and coaching packages for employee well-being and personal development. Coaching: Some examples of why you may choose coaching (there are of course many more!); • You feel you could achieve more in your career or life; • You find yourself in the same cycle with recurring issues, possibly around: achieving goals/results; setting boundaries; meeting your own and others’ expectations; putting commitment and priorities into practice; motivation of self and others; • You are overwhelmed by the mountain of ‘to do’s’ you face; • You are unsure what your next step should be; • You have a wealth of skills and talents but need focus and direction to put them to good use; • You want to make a change but feel ‘stuck’; How does it work? Sessions can be face to face, via phone or Skype and follow an initial contracting and chemistry session to identify needs, expectations and suitability. If you would like to know more or have any questions I’d be delighted to have a chat in confidence, so do please get in touch.

What do you love most about your job?

I love it when clients become excited and energized by what was previously causing them discomfort. The shift from feeling stuck or overwhelmed to a space of exploration and possibilities leads to clients feeling empowered and delivering results quicker and to a higher standard than if they continued alone. Accompanying clients on this journey is a wonderful experience and seeing people achieve their goals is uplifting and rewarding.

I love the freedom to create training and workshops for organisations especially those centered around employee well-being and personal development. Self awareness and having the tools to successfully navigate work and life are essential in today's world.

What inspired you to start your own business?

After 15+ years in people development and leadership roles I found myself at a level where I felt my values and skills were no longer in sync with the work I was doing. I wanted the freedom to create and utilise my skills and experience so I reached out to a coach and found the experience life changing. The opportunity to support others in this way felt like the perfect work for me. I enjoy working with a wide variety of clients both within organisations and independently, especially those keen to make a difference, whatever that looks like.

Why should our clients choose you?

I am passionate about developing potential and supporting well-being and I qualified as a coach at The University of Cambridge. With a background in learning and development, hospitality and people management I understand the challenges of the corporate environment, leadership, and finding balance and fulfillment in life.

Coaching: I offer a free 20 minute consultation to answer any questions you may have and for us to determine if I am the right fit for you.

While both are focused on self-improvement, life and career coaching are two very different services. Life coaching is focused on reaching personal goals, whether that’s about relationships, building confidence, or finding meaning in life. Career coaching helps with challenges associated with your career. A career coach may help you cultivate skills such as career planning, interview techniques, CV writing and building confidence.

A business coach (or business consultant) is someone who can provide an outside perspective of you and your business, to provide new insight and strategies to help you reach your business goals. They’re trained in supporting a range of business goals, from driving sales and boosting revenue to supporting more personal career development, like building strong leadership qualities or improving focus and efficiency. Whatever your pain points, a business coach will help you tackle them head-on. They’re typically successful business owners themselves which means they can bring valuable experience to the table!

Whether you’re a one-person start-up or the managing director of a multinational company, we could all benefit from career coaching. Someone from the outside will be able to provide a fresh perspective on issues that you may not even have realised existed! If you’ve got a vision but have no idea how to make it into a reality, then a career coach will help you to break down your goals into manageable chunks to achieve them.

Whatever stage you’re at in your professional journey, a career coach can help you get there, whether it’s making small wins or a big change. If you’re stuck in a rut or looking for a major change in your career or business, a good business coach will help you to earn much more than the cost of their services.
