I'm Danann, a headshot & portrait photographer with a lovely garden studio, based in East London.
It's my intention to work with you in a fun, creative & relaxed environment to give you the headshots you'll need to get the auditions, jobs or roles you want in life.
I've many years past experience as an actor & presenter and I'm also an award winning commercials director.
“I hate having my photograph taken so having headshots done is definitely not something I look forward to - but Danann was so patient and fun to be with that he helped me to relax. I finished up with dozens of great portraits. It was difficult to choose the final handful but I am really pleased with them and have received many compliments “

Got a project that needs shooting? I’d love to help…
My name is Steve Kraitt and I am a London-based photographer specialising in commercial product, lifestyle, beauty and fashion photography & videography.
I love to create beautiful images, I’m passionate about what I do, and I can help you bring your next project to life.
Clients bring their projects & campaigns back to me season after season, year after year.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
What will you be using the pictures for - website, brochure, social media, internal? What type of images do you want - dramatic, documentary, commercial, quirky, arty? What's the reason for the event - celebrating, boosting morale, selling to clients? Do you want to share these photos (this will determine their size, format and delivery platform)? Would you like me to do a book with the photos?
What do you love most about your job?
Pictures give people a lot of pleasure, and good pictures give them even more pleasure. This can take the form of allowing them to sell more of their product, giving them precious memories, bringing them closer to friends, family, staff or clients. Pictures can make them feel good about themselves, by making them realise they actually look good.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I love doing something I love and I love being my own boss.
Why should our clients choose you?
1) I capture good pictures; 2) I capture the right pictures; 3) I'm reliable; 4) I'm easy to work with; 5) I communicate well; 6) I know my technology (making it easy for you).
What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
Well, first of all, you have to listen to your client - a great photo is a photo that your client loves. So there's that. But sometimes your client may not always know in advance what they want, which is where your photographic nouse comes in - you have to understand what the main subject of an event is (likely to be grandad, if it's grandad's 100th birthday), then you have to anticipate when something dramatic/emotional/amazing is going to happen, then you have to be ready (so, be in the right place, have your camera's settings right).
