My name is Magdalena and I have started Vocalize in 2018 with the aim of helping people of all abilities and ages improve their vocal skills. Originally from Poland, I moved to Wales in 2012 and have lived here ever since. I have been studying in Karlowicz Music School in Zielona Gora, Poland and for many years I have been studying singing in Rezonans Studio in Zielona Gora, Poland. I completed a degree in Drama, Theatre and Performance from Aberystwyth University and graduated in 2015. I am very interested in Estill Voice Training; therefore in 2019 I have completed Estill level 1 & level 2 course as well as Estill for Singing Teachers. Currently, I am a student at Royal Birmingham Conservatoire (MA Professional Voice Practice). I am a passionate singer and I have been singing since 2003. The passion and love of singing and singing voice drove me to start teaching and with my work, I hope to inspire others to explore and develop their voice and vocal skills. My teaching style is relaxed and goal- oriented. I set specific goals with my students and I help my students to fulfill their goals. During the lessons, I focus on technical exercises addressing the student’s needs as well as on student’s repertoire. I work with students on style and genre of their choice. I offer lessons in my Studio in Aberystwyth, Ceredigion, as well as Online (via Zoom and Skype). I offer 1-on-1 private lessons, as well as group sessions. I am offering FREE initial consultation. I have worked with Tom for just over a year, and at first I had zero confidence and refused to sing a note. However since then I have developed greatly and now singing is one of my greatest passions, not only has Tom helped me greatly with my singing but has also helped me to gain confidence I though I would never have, I have been pushed out of my comfort zones it ways that have helped me so much and ways I would have never done alone. Every lesson that I have with Tom I feel as though my singing develops and develops each time as well as my acting and I know so many others who would agree. Tom has helped me in every way and has played such a huge role with my life.

Tom is an amazing teacher to work with and has helped to develop my voice and confidence so much . Over the past 2 years, he has been great at teaching me healthy singing techniques and he really helps me to understand the how and why behind them and how they affect my singing. Our lessons are always fun and enjoyable and I always come away from them having learnt something new and feeling as if I’m progressing. I can’t say enough about how great of a teacher he has been.
