The trainers here are outstanding. Small group sizes mean that the sessions can be tailored to individual ability levels so that everyone gets a first-class workout. All of the trainers take what they do seriously, and create an environment where everyone can feel comfortable and have a laugh whilst working hard. Other members here are welcoming and supportive which makes all the difference when you are first starting out. Again, the small class sizes support an inclusive atmosphere which makes you want to keep going back. Since starting at Train I have lost 3st and transformed the shape of my body. It has encouraged me to make healthy lifestyle changes, and has me feeling fitter than ever before. Ste and the team have created a great place here, perfect for those who don't enjoy a typical gym or want to pay for expensive personal training. More...

I could not recommend Train Rainhill more, it’s honestly an excellent personal training studio. Having worked with numerous personal trainers who have mostly left me dissatisfied after sessions.
I’ve never had that problem here! Currently just over 1 month in training 3 x per week.

How do you help your clients achieve their fitness goals?
We use high intensity interval training, strength training, flexibility routines and cardiovascular exercise to help out clients build better bodies whilst keeping it fun and interesting
What’s the secret to getting the body of your dreams?
Consistency is king. We're not the type of place that beasts people. Ofcourse we'll push you, support you and motivate you however this is always done in a measured way, calling on our experience to understand when someone is struggling vs the times people need that extra nudge. Consistently training and eating correctly over time is the only way to achieve results that will last
What do you love most about your job?
I love helping people understand how much they can actually do. When they first arrive at Train, a lot of our clients think they are unfit but after just a couple of weeks they start to realise how much they are actually capable of doing. Sometimes it's just a case of fixing some inbalances, correcting some technique or slowly building up in a measured way.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I was frustrated at the poor standard of personal trainers in other gyms and studios. I felt that clients deserved better and that I could use my (and that of the trainers at Train) sports-science background to really help people build a healthier, leaner body for the long term and eliminate all the yo-yoing in their lives but without sacrificing their social life.
1:1 Personal Training
Working directly with your dedicated Personal Trainer you'll achieve results that are specific to your goals using training systems and methods that are engineered around you. In a completely-private training environment you'll learn how to train for life using new techniques under the watchful eye of a degree-level Personal Trainer
Semi-Private Personal Training
You'll train under the watchful eye of a highly qualified Personal Trainer in a boutique studio alongside 1-3 others with the same mentality and goals as you. You'll have access to timetable of sessions, training 2-4 times per week as your schedule allows. The timetable gives you the flexibility to train around your busy schedule.
