I'm a professional guitar tutor based in Leeds and I have been playing for over 25 years. I have a degree in creative music technology and also work as a home based guitar technician. I teach all levels and styles and all I ask is that students are keen to learn and dedicate time to practice between lessons. I charge £20 per hour or £15 for 45 minutes. I view each student as individually unique and promise to help you achieve your musical goals.
Great guitarist and all round nice guy! I've been taking lessons for 6 months + now and I can't of imagined I would have reached this standard. Baz understands the importance of having that one hour lesson and no time is ever wasted like I felt it has been with previous teachers. He is not just watching you play stuff out of a book and correcting you.
Andy's Guitar Tuition
Professional guitarist and tutor with over 20 years of experience to pass on. Whether you want to learn your favourite songs, basic music theory, tone up on your technique or learn complex musical theory and applications I can get you doing it. Very competitive rates and all lessons done in the comfort of your own home.
Andy has got to be one of the most down to earth, friendly, accommodating and talented guys I know.
I must have been one of his most tone deaf and untalented students but each and every lesson, a sheer delight.
I couldn’t give him any other praise than “simply the best”, even though I never asked him to teach me that, must be the only one!

Seeing my students develop in to the guitar players they want to be is why I teach guitar. It is the most enjoyable and rewarding job I have had the priviledge to do. I have seen how the learning of the guitar (and other instruments) can change peoples lives and give them a rewarding hobby or the potential of a new career.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I started my business during the last recession. While Jobless and facing a tired and unfulfilling job interviews, I decided to set my self up as a guitar teacher and try out a new vocation, which gave me the rewards and freedom I was looking for. I set up my business with a small government loan, I searched out one of the UK's best mentors who would help me become a professional muscian. It has turned out to be the best career decision I could have made and I love it.
Why should our clients choose you?
This is a full time profession, so my students recieve a professional who is only interestred to their musical development. I provide a dedicated studio where all lessons are given. Most importantly I focus on the indvidual, I do not give out generic advice and I give students the best techniques to help them play. Everyone learns at their own pace. I do not pressurise students, unless I need to, lessons are meant to be as much fun as possible, without compromising the standards of teaching and learning.
