It has been a real pleasure watching my daughter receive piano lessons from Nicol over the past year. She has gained great confidence in playing longer pieces using both scales (and we are not a particularly 'musical' family). Nicol has continued to be very positive and encouraging every lesson and is swift to reply to any question or concern you may have. I would ceratinly recommend Nicol to any budding pianist!

Want to learn how to play the guitar? You are in the right place! My name is Panos, and I am a professional guitar player/teacher from Greece who lives and works in the UK. Teaching has been my passion since I was a guitar student! In 2014, I graduated with a Jazz Guitar degree from Philippos Nakas Conservatory in Athens, Greece. Later, I had the chance to study at the University of West London (UWL) and graduated with a BMus in Music Performance and Production in 2019.

I have been studying guitar for many years and had many different teachers. I can say for certain that Panos is the best I ever had. Not only does he have immense knowledge of music theory, guitar techniques etc but he also has an amazing ability to make everything seem easily understandable and clear. I feel that my progress has been dramatic since I started having lessons with him. He really focuses on the needs of the student and the type of music he wants to play. 11/10 can't recommend enough.

Sean has been giving weekly guitar lessons to my 8 year old son and 10 year old daughter, at our house ,for approximately a year. He is a nice friendly young man who the kids both feel totally comfortable with, and enjoy their lessons. He keeps them motivated by learning new songs every week or two and doing the types of music they enjoy listening to. They are making really good progress!

Excellent platform to help me find the best tutor for my daughter. It was really easy to navigate around the website and making an account was quick. Once my tutor request went live, I had plenty of tutors message me with interest, unlike some other tutor sites. All of them had great experience and were friendly. I would definitely recommend this site to anyone looking for tuition for their child.

Hi, I am Malcolm, and through Cool Gool Music I communicate love via music! My love to see you my student continually improve in how to communicate your inner feelings on your instrument, regardless of your preferred style. I teach guitar, ukulele, bass guitar, and music harmony & theory for any instrument (not only guitar/bass/uke). Lessons are internationally online, at yours (within zone 3 of TfL network), or from my London studio in Surrey Quays/ Canada Water (a step’s throw away for anyone in SE16, SE1, SE14, SE15 & SE8)
Well, that depends entirely on the person. Our lessons are open to everyone, from beginners to advanced players and with no age limits. Some people are wanting to be the next Hendrix or Clapton. Others are looking to hone their skills specifically on acoustic, electric or bass. Some of my students are really into certain styles and need coaching on that. We’ve given jazz guitar lessons, metal guitar lesson, flamenco guitar lessons and even gypsy jazz lessons! London is a great place to find people who want to learn some of the more abstract styles.
A guitar would be helpful! We ask all our students to provide their own instrument – although we can lend them a bass if they need it. Don’t worry if you’re not rocking a vintage Fender Stratocaster though, as we can teach you to play no matter what guitar you have. Aside from that, we’ve got enough plectrums, capos and amps for everyone. We also keep enough spare nylon, steel and flat strings for any breakages that might happen during your lessons. Finally, we have plenty of songbooks with guitar tabs for those wanting to learn to read or write music.
We’ve taught a whole range of skills and techniques across a variety of genres. Some people just need help with basic chords – you need those barre and power chords nailed to get anywhere as a guitarist. Others want to build on their strumming and picking. Very few people are Dick Dale the first time they touch a guitar. Those tremolo picking skills don’t come out of thin air! The key is not to feel self-conscious. If playing guitar is simply a hobby, or if you want to really make something out of it, we cater our classes entirely around what you’re looking to get out of them.
