Doing something I love brings me joy and freedom to be creative. There are alot of aspects of this job that I love but in particular working with the seasons and supporting couples through a very exciting chapter in their relationship. We work on an exlcuisve basis, only taking on a few weddings per year. This is deliberate to ensure every couple and every wedding has our full attentiveness, our clients deserve nothing less. This commitment allows us to get to know our couples and work closely with them. It is important that wedding flowers reflect the couples style and personality, time with them allows this to happen.
I wanted to combine my passion for sustainability, creativeness and work somehow with the seasons. I am an attention to detail kind of person so working floral design is a good fit for me.
Training to be a florist entails using traditional floristry methods, but I decided to strip back old ways of creating floral designs and explore sustainable alternatives. 3 years on, I have tried, tested and spent 100s of hours experimenting new ways of working to reduce the impact that floristy has on the environment. I am incredibly proud that this investment in time, skills and reasearch has paid off, I am a fully rehearsed sustainable Wedding & Events florist using eco-friendly materials and sustainable methods to create high-end and dreamy floral designs for my clients.
