Genuinely amazed with Darren’s dedication to our transformation. We have both tried various diets and exercise plans that was totally not sustainable and to be honest very boring and bland. From the minute we met Darren we 100% knew he was going to be the one to help us. Since having just a weekly session with Darren I have lost 2 stone and now found my love for the gym. Darren has been amazing since day 1, he is always coming up with plans and new workouts that push us that little bit more! Keeping it fresh and exciting with weekly weigh ins and guidance for areas that we need to improve on. The support and advice from Darren is above and beyond what we expected and I can honestly say he has been instrumental on every aspect of our new lifestyle. We could not be happier with our progress with Darren from barely being able to do a gentle warm up to now doing workouts we could of only dreamt of. Darren really challenges me and seems to know my capabilities or how much more I can be pushed more than I do. He’s very intuitive and easy to work with while still being challenging. Darren was great throughout the sessions, always changing what we were working on and varying the exercises each session to keep it interesting. Since working with Darren would say that I have more energy and I’m certainly stronger and have nearly achieved my weight lost goal within 4 weeks. More...

From having never set foot in a gym in 45 years, and now training with Darren for about 2 and a half months, I have been very happy with my progress towards my fitness goals. He is a very knowledgeable guy around many aspects of health and fitness, and has been excellent at tailoring my training plans towards my goals and offering me sound nutritional advice along the way. Absolute love going to the gym now, purely because I'm seeing the benefits. So I have been training with Jackson Darren now for 5 week and I have managed to lose 12lb with his help and guidance. This is the longest I have ever stuck to any diet or training programme. It's great having the support every step of the way. Seriously if you want to lose weight build muscle or just get fitter get in touch with him. After years of trying personal trainers and getting plans sent through etc and them not meeting my needs and quite frankly being poor and repetitive, Darren stepped in! Every session is new and engaging! Darren is very motivating and easy to be around... his session plans are also great, no jargon! Darren also takes into consideration your consultation form and what exercises you prefer which is great as you feel more comfortable within the gym (seems simple but no other place has done this) I honestly can't recommend Darren more, experienced and qualified!� More...

I am an experienced lifter, and decided to treat myself to a PT. I chose Darren due to his experiences in cutting bodyfat whilst maintaining muscle, but also he understood my sport also and what was involved.
Darren showed me new ideas for my training, which I hadn't thought of before, and made a programme suited to my sport (grappling).

Now when I train alone, I feel I get much more of a blast in an hours session, following the programme he had built for me.

I have been working with Darren for a few months now focusing on toning and gaining strength.

I am a person who wouldn’t step foot in a gym until earlier this year and with Darren’s help I have gained confidence and now know more exercises to do in the gym when I go alone.

Darren is really friendly and personable adapting to what I want to achieve. He notes down my weights and reps week on week so that I can actually see my progress giving me motivation to go further.

I started the gym around April with the hope of getting fitter and losing some weight. I’d been going about 2 months 3-4 times a week and not really seeing any difference. I was only really using the same equipment over and over that I was familiar with eg treadmill, bike etc. Darren noticed I was struggling to work some equipment and came over to help. After showing me how to use this properly he offered a free PT session with no pressure at all to sign up after that, but where he was able to provide a planned workout using various other equipment in the gym I’d previously overlooked. I’d done more in that session than over previous months on my own. Darren was really knowledgeable on all the equipment and showed me how to use things such as TRX, weights prowler which I would never have done otherwise. Following on from this I signed up for 12 PT sessions with Darren were I’ve continued to be impressed. Each session is varied focusog on different parts of your body each time. Darren is very supportive and has planned exercise programmes for when I am on my own with the added bonus of info on diet improvements, recipes ans how I can get the most out of exercising. I can already see the difference after a few sessions and having someone training for you with that expert knowledge and support makes a massive difference. I think I would have quit the gym by now without this whereas now I find myself enjoying going every when not on a PT session as I now know how to vary my training and make it more enjoyable but still get results. I've been working with Darren for a few months now. Not long ago I was wondering around a gym trying to work out what the hell everything did and how the hell I was going to work it. I felt ok with cardio and would attend the odd class but everything else was scary and daunting and I felt unfit, wobbly and clueless. Thankfully Darren came to rescue me and has been a massive help ever since. I never thought training could be so fun and its taken someone who is very patient and bacisally an overall great trainer, to show me the way, open my eyes and help me develop a new and healthy hobby. His training plans are designed with the individual in mind and are nice and easy to follow and he's eager to switch and change exercises to best fit you and your needs/likes. Every training session is unique and inspiring and I never find myself getting bored. I actually really enjoy going to the gym now. If anyone is ever thinking about getting into training or even just looking for guidance and support I couldn't recommend anyone as highly as this guy! As a complete and utter gym beginner i was just doing the standard treadmill/rower/bike combo. Been training with darren for almost 8 weeks now and im finally seeing results from working out for the first time. Darren set me both gym and home workouts to do, as a single mum i can't always get to the gym so this has been priceless for me. From first meeting him he put me at ease and made me feel so comfortable. I've been working with Darren for a few months now with the main goals of losing a bit more weight with emphasis on toning (already previously lost a lot of weight). He's a great guy and really down to earth, which was important for me because there's no sense of PT intimidation so no reason to be scared of the gym! It has made me feel more confident about going into the gym on my own and knowing exactly what machines/weights/equipment I want to use without caring what other people think too.

Since working with him I've lost 1st 3lbs (17lbs total), with thanks to his help and healthy eating outside the gym. My weight-loss has been slow and steady (as I'm getting closer to my goal weight) but I'm enjoying definitely seeing the difference and a bit more definition that I otherwise wouldn't have had without Darren's help.

Additionally, he provides reward opportunities to help with the cost of the sessions (I.e. checking-in on Facebook etc.) which is a great idea, as well as a first free PT session.

Darren is a really good PT , very down to earth and friendly. I had a specific reason for training and Darren tailored my workouts to ensure that I focused on the areas I really needed work on. Darren has got me using machines that I would normally avoid and now I feel confident enough to go in and use them when I’m on my own. I have already noticed a difference in my performance and body. First regular PT I've had! I've had a couple of sessions with others before but never stuck. Darren is really motivating and very down-to-earth which makes a PT session feel a lot scary! I've been really enjoying the sessions and most importantly enjoying going to the gym more now that I have a better idea of how to structure my days and time there, thanks to Darren. He's made it easier to break my goals down thanks so a personal plan he creates for each person. This way I can see steady progress and actually want to go to the gym and work out. There's also a fantastic app where all your information goes about any workouts you are doing as well as dietry/nutrition info so this is super handy. Would absolutely recommend Performance Chasers! Today I signed up with Darren for him to personal train me. I did have cheaper options but when it came down to it, his passion and drive that he has for the job came through instantly and made me decide he is worth the price he is charging. Even before meeting him I was thinking more to him rather than other cheaper options. He just gives a great vibe from the get go. I approached Darren to help me with my training. I was looking to lose fat and build muscle. Darren came back with a tailor made program for me to follow. I use different coaching for each client depending on their personality and how they respond. I also offer full support as each client has access to the performance chasers mobile app and am always happy to help.

Being dedicated over time produces results each small increase in performance and Intensity in the gym and sticking to the nutrition plan over time adds up and when feeling like giving up focus on why you started.

Working with lots of different people and seeing clients reach their goals. Clients are happy and a lot of my business is a result from happy client giving referrals. As a added bonus I have time to work out a lot and spend time finding new ways to train clients and myself to continue making progress towards our goals.

I always had a passion for fitness and training Passing this passion onto clients giving education on diet and nutrition is very rewarding I am also very self-driven I have put 16-18 hour days in the past to improve my business for example my website or getting the mobile app developed. I would struggle to do so working in a job I did not have this level of passion for. I feel I am in a job that is perfect for me and after 3 years and lots of happy clients and great reviews I know personal training the career for me.

I believe I have the practical experience from training myself for over 15 years. The education from being at University studying sports science and the experience working with over 100 clients to give a great service. I have built a great reputation in personal training and the reviews are in great indicator that I give a 5 star service to clients.
