I have just completed my first 24 sessions with Nick and I have throughly enjoyed them, so much so that I am going to continue with another block of sessions. I have already noticed a fantastic difference in my general level of fitness and my motivation has increased really well too, compared to when I first started and it has only been just over 8 weeks.I always look forward to coming to training three times a week and feel very positive when I leave. He pushes you and you will work hard, but Nick is fantastic at pushing you to be the best you can be and helps you get the most out of training with him. Would highly recommend to anyone.

23 hours ago I signed up for Andrews fitness classes a few weeks ago after seeing it on Facebook. I’ve put on a few pounds and got really unfit through lockdown and I do have a gym membership but can never get myself motivated to go. Andy’s classes are brilliant. They’re high intensity but he gives you different/easier options so you can start at a low level and build it up to suit your fitness level. Andrew Is really nice and encourages you and I don’t feel like a failure for not being able to do as much as others in the class, he gave me loads of really helpful advice about my diet and nutrition and being outside for the classes is really nice. Every time I do a class it gets a bit easier and I really enjoy it! Everyone in the class is super friendly and encouraging too. I’ve actually cancelled my gym membership and I’m just going to do this. I honestly can’t recommend it enough if you want to get fit but don’t know where to start or how to get motivated :)

Mobile personal trainer, with a passion for helping clients achieve their goals, whether that be to be able to move more and play with the grandchildren to completing a marathon or sportive and everything in between. Being mobile means no need for you to waste time battling traffic getting to the gym, finding the piece of equipment you want is broken or busy and then not being sure where to go next, I bring everything needed, have the plan and help you get more from yourself than you normally would.

As with many people approaching their 40th birthday it became clear that I had to make some important decisions. My life so far had been spent eating, drinking, avoiding exercise as well as sitting either at my desk or in my car. I was approaching 15 stones, had weekly debilitating back issues, did not sleep and had low energy levels. I had made some half-hearted attempts to get fit in the past including various gym memberships, buying a bike and obligatory state of the art running shoes. All had quickly come to nothing both due to my lack of commitment, boredom and results. Time to try something different. I contacted several personal trainers.... Three things differentiated Andrew from the other trainers I engaged. Firstly he spent time considering my specific aims and constructed a training plan specifically for me. Secondly, we could train in the way I preferred and on my terms – as an example, I wanted to train at home the idea being that I could avoid the “challenge” of getting up and travelling to the gym and I also needed something to fit around my unpredictable schedule. Surprisingly many others were not willing to consider this. Finally, Andrew was clearly more than just about physical exercise having excellent knowledge of nutrition and physiology. After about 6 months of working with Andrew I had clearly lost weight and as a result of focusing on core-strength my back issues had almost gone. After about 1 year I had hit my target weight of 11.5 stones and friends and colleagues had started to talk about a “physical transformation”. I also had better mussel definition, stamina and agility. 5 years on I am still a stable 11.5 stones, do not suffer back pain, run regular fast 10k’s and even now people comment about how much I have changed. Throughout all this time Andrew has always maintained a plan for me that has helped me achieve my targets, pushed me slightly further than I would have done but been considerate of my constraints such as the back problems I had. Andrew has been 100% reliable and incredibly flexible with regard my frequently changing schedule. Despite starting my fitness campaign over 5-years ago now, working with Andrew continues to be a core component. Andrew still pushes me 10% more than I would push myself, keeps my exercise regime varied and has helped make “looking after yourself” be a core aspect not only of my life but my families too. I am also now faster than Andrew over 5k – one area he needs to improve. I would highly recommend using a personal trainer and specifically Andrew has been excellent.

I specialise in foundational health, whether this is exercise or nutrition. For exercise, the correct base of movement is essential for long term health and fitness. Building up from good posture, mobility and stability, ensures that we not only look well but feel well too. Having the correct structured exercises specific to you ensures that goals such as weight loss, strength and fitness are met.

I can't recommend Donovan enough. I was struggling with my workouts and nutrition and decided to get a PT to help me. Donovan is very informative and gave me so much great advice on what to eat and what to take for certain things I struggle with. He's very calming and really knows his stuff. I have to say I don't like working out that much but having someone show me each move and things I can do at home on my own really made a difference to me being motivated to work out and able to see changes in my body.

I am here to help you achieve the fitness/exercise goals you've always wanted, let me bring out that inner confidence and strength we know you have! By tailoring a detailed programme for them to follow and also putting in place lifestyle changes/adaptations to ensure adherance, not only in the gym but in everday life as well.
Like I always say there is no secret, it's just about hard work and dedication. 'Create The Vision' be able to adapt the plan and stick to it 80/20 of the time, enjoy the process and never forget what that end goal/dream is.
I love being able to help others see their true potential, and give them the confidence and knowledge to change their lifestyle/outlook to what they invision it to be. Truly having an impact not only on their physical fitness but mental wellbeing too.

I pride myself on being more than just a PT, I want to be able to bring confidence to your life in and outside of the gym. The best sessions are done when everything clicks, physical, mental and environmental factors. Let me help you become the best version of yourself!
I am also able to provide my services on an online platform, this can be discussed more if this is the option wanted to be taken.
All equipment used is wiped down before and after use, depedning on the client and their views I am not against wearing a facemask when training them. The same appplies with social distance unless I need to safely spot an exercise done by the client.
Should I work out every day of the week?
It depends on your end goal. If you’re training for a marathon, you might work out nearly every day of the week. If you’re a low-level beginner, a minimum of three times a week is enough to make a noticeable impact. No matter what you’re working out for, everyone needs rest and recovery days. Without them, your muscles won’t be able to recuperate and grow strong, so remember to factor in some down-time, too!

Where can I have my personal training sessions?
Pretty much anywhere! The great thing about personal training is that it’s flexible - as long as you have the necessary equipment, you and your instructor can decide to have your sessions from the gym, your home, the park, or even your office if you want to!

Does my fitness instructor need to know anything about me?
Yes! First of all, they will chat with you about your goals, and discuss the best way to achieve them. They should also ask you to fill in a consent form to check that you don’t have any pre-existing health conditions that could impact your exercise. They’ll also carry out a health assessment to get a better idea of your current fitness level, tailoring your workout plan around that.

What does a standard personal training session involve?
It's tricky to say, as personal training sessions vary significantly depending on what you want to achieve and the type of workout. Generally, one personal training session tends to last forty-five minutes to one hour. It will start with a gentle warm-up, followed by the nitty-gritty of the actual workout, with stretches to end the session. Remember, warming up and stretching is essential for injury prevention - it’s just as important as the main part of the workout!

What qualifications should a personal trainer have?
A personal trainer needs to be clued up on all aspects of fitness, from the most effective exercise techniques to nutrition and human anatomy- that’s a lot of responsibility! You need to make sure your professional is suitably qualified for the job. After all, you shouldn’t cut corners when it comes to investing in your health. Make sure your trainer has the minimum qualifications required to practice. In the UK, this is the Level 3 Personal Trainer qualification.

Can I get a Personal Trainer online?
Absolutely! Online personal training has become increasingly popular as more people are looking to maintain their fitness during lockdowns and gyms closing. As long as you and your personal trainer have a strong internet connection and a device to stream on like a laptop, tablet or smartphone, there's no reason why your session can't be delivered remotely.
