I support organisations in developing leadership and teams. I help improve performance, progress careers and enhance leadership capability. My private coaching services are aimed at talented and ambitious female leaders who want to progress to senior levels in a high standards / regulated workplace. I’m passionate about supporting women in managing the demands and challenges that come with leadership and have years of first-hand experience myself from PwC. I specialise in leadership, communication, career development and confidence, helping women deal with barriers in their way and supporting them in their growth as a leader. I can help women deepen leadership skills, manage teams effectively, progress their careers, get promoted, reduce working hours, improve communication, manage difficult stakeholders and tackle feelings of self-doubt or imposter syndrome. My coaching programmes are all online and designed to support women in leadership: Executive Coaching for senior leaders Leadership Coaching for mid-level leaders Aspiring Leaders Coaching for early managers Promotion Success 1:1 Presentation Skills Successful Career Change Here's what some of my clients have said about my services: "The coaching came into play in discussions I had with my team, peers and senior leaders. I find the coaching really beneficial and it has renewed my focus on what I want to achieve in the future. Rachael’s knowledge and level of professionalism are outstanding and really help me make a difference." - Partner from a top 10 Accountancy Firm "Working towards a senior promotion is a challenging time; having Rachael supporting and nudging me along gave me the confidence that was already there but helped me bring out both on paper and in my promotion interview. Rachael challenged me to ensure I pulled out the best examples and articulate myself well. Most important for me was learning to talk un-self-consciously about myself and my examples. Rachael worked with me to ensure I put myself forward in the best light, confidently." PwC UK Director "Career Coaching with Rachael helped me work out what is important to me when it comes to a career, what my skills & strengths are, helped me build confidence professionally and ultimately get a new job! I approached Rachael whilst in a real period of feeling stuck in a job I was dissatisfied with, and didn’t know what I wanted to do with my career. I now feel so much more clear on my career goals, values and priorities. I also feel a lot more confident in my strengths and abilities. I couldn’t recommend Rachael enough!" Lauren

What do you love most about your job?

Making a difference to my clients is very rewarding. It's my hope that as a result of coaching, my clients can make a difference for their teams, organisations, colleagues and families too.

What inspired you to start your own business?

I’m really passionate about supporting women in managing the opportunities and challenges that come with career progression and leadership. Today's workplaces aren't always easy places to be, and I want to make sure women have the support they need to stay in careers they love and deal the challenges, or find a new one.

Why should our clients choose you?

I care about every single client I work with and I work hard to do my absolute best to support them. I have a corporate background (PwC for 15 years) and I've led many teams, so I understand first-hand the challenges of managing teams and the challenges that come with corporate life. I love working with professional, talented and ambitious women who are used to working to very high standards; I understand those environments and I want to help those women make a difference and achieve their aspirations.
I have a very strong commitment to client service and I deeply believe that people are far more capable than they realise.
I'm a fully trained and qualified coach (not all coaches are!) which means my clients are in safe hands. I have 10+ years experience and I'm still learning.

Can you provide your services online or remotely? If so, please add details.

Most of my coaching is done online via Zoom or Teams. On occasion I meet up face to face with clients, depending on location.

What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?

My coaching is usually online so it hasn't been impacted by the risks.

While both are focused on self-improvement, life and career coaching are two very different services. Life coaching is focused on reaching personal goals, whether that’s about relationships, building confidence, or finding meaning in life. Career coaching helps with challenges associated with your career. A career coach may help you cultivate skills such as career planning, interview techniques, CV writing and building confidence.

A business coach (or business consultant) is someone who can provide an outside perspective of you and your business, to provide new insight and strategies to help you reach your business goals. They’re trained in supporting a range of business goals, from driving sales and boosting revenue to supporting more personal career development, like building strong leadership qualities or improving focus and efficiency. Whatever your pain points, a business coach will help you tackle them head-on. They’re typically successful business owners themselves which means they can bring valuable experience to the table!

Whether you’re a one-person start-up or the managing director of a multinational company, we could all benefit from career coaching. Someone from the outside will be able to provide a fresh perspective on issues that you may not even have realised existed! If you’ve got a vision but have no idea how to make it into a reality, then a career coach will help you to break down your goals into manageable chunks to achieve them.

Whatever stage you’re at in your professional journey, a career coach can help you get there, whether it’s making small wins or a big change. If you’re stuck in a rut or looking for a major change in your career or business, a good business coach will help you to earn much more than the cost of their services.
