There’s far too many things to pick from! If I’ve got to narrow it down to just one, it’s very rewarding helping someone on a potentially life-changing journey. I get to see real change in my clients, whether that be in their overall health, weight, or attitude.
I was always athletic at school. I was a part of as many sports clubs as possible and I would never seem to slow down – being active is simply who I am. When I first joined a gym I quickly learnt that I could set new milestones and beat them again and again. Being able to see progression was fascinating and pushing myself to new limits was great. I became friends with the personal trainers at my gym and the job they were describing was simply perfect for me. I then booked onto my first training course and the rest was history!
I have a Master Personal Trainer Diploma, certifications in sports massage, and even ante and postnatal instructing. I’m certified to instruct cycling, weight lifting, and circuit training.

I’m struggling with where to start with this review, because I feel that it is difficult to encapsulate Tim’s value as a trainer in a brief paragraph. Tim goes above and beyond for each of his clients, both during sessions and in his personal time. During session, he is attentive and gives feedback not just on form, but on posture, breathing, and other micro-behaviours to help you perform at your best. He also points out areas that may need additional work, either through stretching/mobility, or by working with a physio/RMT. After sessions, he is very responsive to questions and shares his wealth of experience when it comes to nutrition, and behaviours/habits that will set you up for success. Hiring Tim as your coach and mentor is a sound investment in your body and mind. Personally, I hired Tim as my coach over a year ago in order to build more muscle. During this time, I have not only seen changes in my physique, but learned more about myself as a person, and expanded my vision of what I want to achieve. If you are looking to grow physically & mentally, and work with someone who will tell you hard truths whilst still being supportive and fully in your corner, you definitely should work with Tim.

I’ve been training with Ricepump Fitness for a little over a month now, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. The personal trainer is not only knowledgeable and professional but also incredibly motivating and approachable.
