I was always athletic at school. I was a part of as many sports clubs as possible and I would never seem to slow down – being active is simply who I am. When I first joined a gym I quickly learnt that I could set new milestones and beat them again and again. Being able to see progression was fascinating and pushing myself to new limits was great. I became friends with the personal trainers at my gym and the job they were describing was simply perfect for me. I then booked onto my first training course and the rest was history!
I have a Master Personal Trainer Diploma, certifications in sports massage, and even ante and postnatal instructing. I’m certified to instruct cycling, weight lifting, and circuit training.
I can work with clients from home, at a local gym, in public areas/parks, from my private workout studio, or even at their office. Modern life is busy and can be difficult to balance, so we can discuss the most suitable options for your routine and budget.

I contacted Micheal while I was living overseas in preparation to come home to Nz - from the get go his enthusiasm, dedication and professionalism are demonstrated in his communication and follow through. It’s refreshing to meet a coach that is humble, humorous and engaging. Our journey started with a hiss and a raw - within a day of arriving home we were having a coffee for a face to face chat. It was great to feel like he really listened to my physical challenges, and my personal goals….. and so “Operation Arms” it was named. Being in the female 40 something category, a professional, and a busy schedule posed no challenge for Micheal - his flexibility has made fitting in my one on one sessions with him so easy. I made a commitment to myself that with moving back to Nz I would only surround myself with people that have the same vibration as myself - he never disappoints! Micheal’s view on a “whole” approach with nutrition and movement going hand in hand is super charging my results. Along with his uplifting attitude to life, his adaptability with different movements to a body that is riddled with “izzums” has made movement once again a buzz ! I look forward to his sessions each week knowing I’m one workout closer to my goal ! So with “operation arms” now in full swing - I’m gaining strength, a leaner body and feeling like I’m moving in the right direction.
