So went to Jamie for the first time yesterday, really relaxing environment, makes you feel comfortable, had a good chat through the session .He is really experienced and knows so much knowledge about the human body So I’ve been having on and off issues for a long time a few months with my neck. Been to gp prescribed all sorts of medications, not once did the gp ever look at my neck or back just more tablets . So decided right I will make an appointment with Jamie he had a look at my back an initially was shocked the pain I was having in my head my neck and on my left side. He did some deep sport massage but I couldn’t describe how much better it feels I finally could sleep at night . I will continue on with this on till the issue resolves fully but for one session it made hell of a difference.Check him out ! I can’t wait to go back !!

These oils are ethically sourced, vegan friendly and from small farms in Indian, brought back to England and blended with the highest quality essential oils. The oils used in your therapy are matched to your dosha - constitution, making Ayurvedic massage the King and Queen of all massages. The oils have medicinal properties and are nourishing and soothing. Ayurvedic massage with Janet Mantle is a must to try. Ayurvedic massage therapist is much more that a masseur, we have to know about much more. We have to understand about dosha, disease, diet, lifestyle so when a client becomes a regular client you can see which therapy would be best for the client on the day. The client leaving the therapy centre a much more relaxed, rejuvenated, free flowing person than the one who first walked in is truly rewarding, a reward for all the training both in a classroom situation and a with my own life experiences is second to none. I care that the client feels nourished and cherished.
Never did I think that I would be self employed, yet the path I have chosen is my life purpose. I have a magic touch and need to use this. I left full time work to follow my life purpose of passing on the knowledge of Ayurveda and helping clients to experience this wonderful therapy. Massage prevents illness, helps with stress and anxiety and aches and pains. I am inspired by the love of alternative therapies, this inspired me to leave the safety net of monthly wage to help educate and pass on the knowledge of Ayurveda.
I care that the client as the best experience with a therapy and oils suitable for them. I am also an Holistic Ayurvedic Clinician for Tri-Dosha give talks about the products too. Remember Sickness is the absence of health, so look after your health with regular massage.

What types of massages does a Massage Therapist offer?
Swedish massage - This is a gentle type of full body massage that is ideal for people who have a lot of tension, are sensitive touch and are new to massage. It can help to release muscle knots and is a good choice if you want to fully relax during your treatment.
Hot stone massage - Hot stone massage is best for people who have muscle pain and tension or who simply want to relax. The massage therapist uses heated stones in lieu of or in addition to their hands.
Aromatherapy massage - Aromatherapy massages are best for people who want to have an emotional healing component to their massage. Aromatherapy massages combine soft, gentle pressure with the use of essential oils. Essential oils are diluted before being applied to the skin.
Deep tissue massage - Deep tissue massage uses more pressure than a Swedish massage. It is a good option if you have chronic muscle problems such as soreness, injury or imbalance.
Sports massage - Sports massage is a good option if you have a repetitive use injury to a muscle such as what you may get from playing a sport. It’s also a good option if you are prone to injuries because it can be used to help prevent sports injuries.
Trigger point massage - Trigger point massages are best suited for people who have injuries, chronic pain, a specific issue or condition. Sometimes areas of tightness in the muscle tissues, known as trigger points can cause pain in other parts of the body. By focusing on relieving trigger points, this type of massage can reduce pain.
Reflexology - Reflexology is a great option for people who are looking to relax or restore their natural energy levels. It is also a good option if you aren’t comfortable being touched on your entire body. Reflexology uses gentle to firm pressure on different pressure points of feet, hands or ears.
Shiatsu massage - Shiatsu massage is best for people who want to feel relaxed and relieve stress, pain and tension.
Thai massage - Thai massage is best for people who want a more active form of massage and want to reduce and relieve pain and stress.
Prenatal massage - Prenatal massage can be a safe way for women to get a massage during pregnancy. It can help reduce pregnancy body aches, reduce stress and ease muscle tension.
Couple’s massage - A couple’s massage is a massage that you do with your partner, friend or family member in the same room. Other treatments such as pedicures, facials, and body scrubs are sometimes offered as part of a package.
Chair massage - A chair massage is best for people who want a quick massage that focuses on your neck, shoulders and back. A chair massage can also be a way to introduce you to massage if you have never had one before. This type of massage uses light to medium pressure.
What should I consider before deciding on my massage therapist?
There are a number of factors that are worth considering before choosing your masseuse.
Choice – It is important to consider why you want a massage. Do you want to find relief from chronic pain or are you just looking for a way to relax? Deciding why you want to get a massage will help you narrow down your options and find the right massage therapist.
Comfort- Getting a massage is a great way to relax both physically and mentally. It is easier to take advantage of this benefit when you feel totally comfortable. That is why you should find a massage therapist that makes you feel comfortable and at ease.
Recommendations – You are likely to have at least one friend or family member that has visited a professional massage therapist and read their reviews on Bark.
You can be confident that any of the Bark local massage therapists listed will give you a relaxing and therapeutic massage.
How do I check the Massage Therapists’ credentials?
You could look for massage therapists with a Level 3 Diploma in Massage or Complementary Therapies. The Council for Soft Tissue Therapies (GCMT) is the governing body for massage therapy and recommends that all massage therapists have taken a full or part-time course.
Before you choose a massage therapist, you could read testimonials and read details of their services on their website.
You could also look at their profile page on Bark and read massage reviews from past customers too. This might also help you get some ideas for the type of massage you want to book.
