I offer Cognitive Behavioural therapy in my clinic in Birmingham or via phone or video for various anxieties such as: - PTSD, OCD, Phobia, Panic, Hypochondria, social anxiety, Body Dysmorphic disorder , Generalised, anxiety disorder (GAD) and depression and low self esteem, stress and wanting to improve your life. To many, following their dreams often stay a dream. This is because anxiety, dread, low self-esteem, depression, and other emotions often get in the way of living the life we want. As a Cognitive Behavioural Therapist, I have the skills and experience to help others emerge out of emotions that trap them. My approach is holistic and I help people to look at what triggers their emotional health. We do have an additional service alongside CBT if you wish to have an overall picture so I look at things like diet, and use alternative understanding of the body via Ayurveda and Chinese approach to mind and body for a better understanding about why they feel the way they do and how they manage their mental and emotional health better. Backed by 12 years of experience working in the NHS as a therapist, I have a wealth of knowledge and skills to significantly help people within a short span of time. I’m compassionate, encouraging, and create a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere where my clients can be honest and unafraid to talk about things that they can’t talk to anyone else. Whether you are suffering from past domestic abuse, struggling with consistent anxiety, or stuck in a depressed state of mind, I’ll help with no judgement. I like to give you the skills and techniques for you to be able to come up with the answers yourself, as I believe we all have the answers within us but we just need time and often guidance to find them. My sessions are never rushed and will be at a pace that suits you. During these uncertain times, I offer online sessions on Zoom or by telephone at a time convenient to you. If you want to work with a sensitive therapist that will restore your confidence so you can manage your mental health not just now but for the rest of your life, please contact me to discuss the next steps. I offer a 20 min free consultation over the phone or in person that gives you the opportunity to chat and see if CBT is right for you , if not that is ok. What do you love most about your job?

I love the interaction i have with clients and once they learn where there anxiety and or depression has come from they feel a sense of relief and it joins all the dots together of why the feel the way they do.
I also love the time when they start to improve and how they start to see that the way they think is not really true and that they can take control of what they are going through .

What inspired you to start your own business?

I wanted to adopt a more holistic approach to helping people with there anxiety and depression, rather then just focus on the anxiety or depression. As i have seen when i had my mental health issues how adopting certain lifestyle changes which may not have been apart of the anxiety or depression enhanced my improvement as our body, mind and external factors also play a part in our mood so if we really want to improve we need to look at it all and then we have less chance of the anxiety or depression coming back. But i only adopt this if the client wants to.
I also think that to make a real change to mental health we need to look at the core beliefs that affect a person as much on the here and now in therapy , becuase once we look at this then again it lessens the chance of mental health issuse reoccuring again as we looked at the grounding of your mental health not just the current thoughts.

I think clients should choose me because in the NHS my recovery rate for clients has been very good, also the feedback i have got from the clients i have helped has been positive and some have even said life changing.
Also i feel the adoption of looking at how physical and mental health are linked together can also be eye opening to clients and how the issuedthey may be facing physically are caused by there mental health issues means that it can alleviate worries and also allow a person to see how if we can manage our mood then we can also be in better control of our well being overall.
I really wish for clients to be better physically and mentally as my mental health experiences came with its fare share of physical health issues and when i understood this i not only bettered my mental health but also improved my chances of having less physical health issues as i looked at it holistically.
If i can help clients get better overall in every way of there mental and physical health then i feel like i have achieved a positive outcome.
