How do you help your clients achieve their fitness goals?

A combination of achievable, short term goals with keeping exercise and nutrition plans simple. Lots of people will follow the latest fitness trend and usually fall short of their goals. Sticking to the classical ways of losing weight, building muscle tone or increasing Cardiovascular fitness are by far the best ways to get the results you want....not forgetting that making training fun and engaging is also important too!

Our clients are always our main focus and this helps us to understand WHY they are exercising. and WHAT makes them tick. By achieving this base level of understanding we can set achievable goals, that are specific to the individual. This allows us to provide fun and easy to follow exercise programmes that are supported by scientific evidence. Therefore, helping our clients fulfil their aspirations, whether that be; improved cardiovascular fitness, strength or body composition.

Good nutrition - healthy eating can involve a few treats every now and again!
Well programmed training with big compound moves (squat, deadlift, rows, presses) being the cornerstone of a training plan

We all would like the body of our dreams, but it is important to be aware that happiness is not defined by a 6 pack. We should feel confident in our bodies and allow our bodies to work functionally and as required. Although this is the case, we can improve our body composition so we do feel confident by following a few very simple techniques, including managing our calorie intake with nutrient-dense food, ensuring we are hydrated correctly. resistance training regularly, ensuring we are sleeping an optimal amount and being more active in our day to day life. Although these principles are vastly important, the most important is sustainability and this is where our staff come in to help you fall in love with these principles so you can implement them forever!

What do you love most about your job?

Helping people return back to their respective sport, daily activities or general lifestyle. It also makes my day being able to make such a positive change to people's lives, and as such, I often feel that my patients become friends too!

What inspired you to start your own business?

With NHS waiting times being so long, and treatment being "hands-off" in nature. I take the view that patients that are in desperate need of help, need time. Time to talk about the problems they have been having, no matter how acute or chronic, and time to be able to fully assess and comprehensively treat them as an individual. As such, I decided to put my own stamp on the healthcare industry and provide my patients with great quality treatment, at affordable prices.

Skill - wise: I have accumulated many new and effective treatment skills since my degree including: osteopathic techniques, acupuncture and various taping techniques as well. Combining these things with a overall active approach to treatment, you'll see results much quicker!

Personality-wise: I genuinely care about every patient that walks through my door, and my general no-nonsense approach means that you will only get the treatment that will be guaranteed to get you pain-free, more mobility and back to your respective sport.

Yes, we now offer an online/remote service for both Personal Training and Injury Rehabilitation. We offer as much support as we can between sessions and have several different packages depending on the level of 1-1 support clients require.

What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?

All staff are now vaccinated against COVID-19.
All staff wear PPE both on the gym floor and in treatment sessions.
All staff and customers are temperature checked on arrival.
Regular cleaning of treatment rooms and gym equipment.
