We spoke to landscaping expert William George from George’s Gardens about the most flattering fire pit designs and tips for choosing or building the perfect fire pit for your outdoor space.

I also love having regular gardens that I see every week or so. You develop a connection with them and it’s spectacular to watch the annual cycles.
I have a postgraduate diploma in garden design and a selection of diplomas covering Forestry and Arboriculture. I am fully certified in the use of chainsaws, the ethical use of pesticides, and wood chippers. I have completed apprenticeships in forestry, nursery practice, and garden maintenance. In the past, I have worked for the council and private gardening businesses before setting up on my own.

John (the manager) and his team were an absolute joy to work with. We had a huge renovation job over the summer last year, involving removing our full back garden lawn, laying a very large patio as well as laying a brand new lawn. They also built a huge wooden pergola with weatherproof roof. They completely replaced our back garden fence and hand built a brand new large garden shed. To the front they laid a brand new drive, and built a wooden porch surround with a new step. The work has been carried out to the highest standards, and the whole team were hugely polite and very respectful. We were quite sad when the job was finished, but are completely in love with our new garden and drive etc. Can't recommend Northeast Landscape and Gardening Services highly enough, literally a life changing experience for us!!

Clem responded to my request of wall mounting a TV & soundbar within an hour of posting. He gave me a competitive quote straight away ,which was acceptable and offered to complete the job the same day. Unfortunately I had a prior appointment and a new day was agreed. Clem arrived on the agreed day , he was a little late but he had telephoned me prior saying he was collecting some materials for the job. He set to work and even went out to change the TV mount as I preferred another one . The job was completed quickly , without mess and to my complete satisfaction. I would recommend him to anyone and we are planning to contact him again in a few months to have some flooring replaced.
