What do you love most about your job?

A number of years ago I worked in an office and wanted to make a change. I decided to study horticulture locally and Northumberland College and start my own garden business. I have never looked back and am very happy to have made the move.

I have a passion for plants and gardening and I love to work outdoors. Working for yourself can be challenging. It is hard work but I love the freedom it brings to schedule my own day and be my own boss.

What inspired you to start your own business?

I have always had a love of gardening since a being a child. I used to dig over my Aunts vegetable plot when I was 10 years old and my father always grew his own vegetables and bedding plants. My inspiration comes from there.

I always regretted not going into gardening sooner but I decided to take a leap into the unknown and study horticulture and started working professionally in 2000. I am certainly glad I did make the change.

Why should our clients choose you?

I am passionate about plants and I work hard to provide the garden my customers want. I am hardworking, reliable and honest. I also have a large amount of hands on experience in all aspects of gardening and I have excellent plant knowledge.

I am fully qualified in horticulture and health & safety and I also have full public liability insurance.

  • Landscaping - landscape gardeners can also offer hard landscaping services such as laying new patios, new decking, new turf for a lawn or building garden buildings such as sheds and bike storage areas.
