What do you love most about your job?

Being outdoors and close to nature, but also the satisfaction that gardening brings. In the uk the seasons bring such variety and its lovely to see the direct outcome of your work, whether that's instant results from a well mown law, or the bursting into life of a climbing rose after a winter prune.
I love meeting people and the pride that comes when someone thanks you for a job well done.

What inspired you to start your own business?

After a long career 'indoors' I wanted to do something special. which is why I took up hedgelaying. It is a traditional skill which is so, so good for the natural environment, providing habitats for native birds, mammals and plants.
Being a lifelong gardener and grower, gardening was the natural extension to that and starting my own business was really the only way to go to provide the consistent quality of work and customer service.

Why should our clients choose you?

I have a variety of skills backed by extensive equipment that enables me to achieve high quality results. But above that I listen to the customer's needs and provide a service to achieve the results they want. Communication is key together with integrity and trust.

  • Garden clearance - They can also assist with garden clearance as having a messy garden can really lessen the appeal of your home both to yourself and to visitors. A well-maintained garden can also increase the value of your home.

  • Garden advice - Some companies offer gardening consultation services to advise on suitable new plants and changes that you would implement yourself.

  • Landscaping - landscape gardeners can also offer hard landscaping services such as laying new patios, new decking, new turf for a lawn or building garden buildings such as sheds and bike storage areas.
