Nutrition will play a pivotal role in your progression for various different reasons from gym performance and recovery to overall improvement in body composition. CSS Fitness aim to take away the guess work and provide you with customised nutritional plans to exploit all of these key factors.

Everyone wants to change but are you willing to put the steps in place to make change happen. Results come from stepping outside your comfort zone and challenging yourself on a daily basis.

What do you love most about your job?

I pride myself on ensuring sessions are fun, innovative and more importantly progressive. Changing people’s lives is a big reason why I became a personal trainer and as my client, you will receive nothing less than 100% of my efforts.

In my eyes, health is wealth.

What inspired you to start your own business?

I have been extremely passionate about sport and fitness my whole life. From an early age I have been competing at a very high level in sport and more specifically football and running. I have represented Bradford City FC, Leeds united FC, and Leeds Carnegie when I was at studying at Leeds metropolitan University.

Since leaving school at 16 I went onto College to study Sport Development and Fitness, this then lead me onto university where I studied a degree in Sport, Leisure and Culture.

After finishing my education, my first working role was with Premier Sport coaching various sports across the national curriculum in schools and sports camps. I also have experience in coaching sport in colleges, universities, and football academies.

I am currently a full time personal trainer at a large gym based in Leeds which has over 14,000 members. I am the founder and head coach of Headingley Harriers running club.

I practice what I preach, and that is optimal health and well-being is the key to a positive and happier you.
