Not only do I get to spend my time listening to some of the greatest songs in history, but I get to meet a huge range of people. Every event is different. No two weddings are the same and corporate events can be absolutely riotous! Birthdays are some of my favourite parties to work with as you get to be a part of such an amazing diversity of styles.
I began by being into music more than most people as a teen. I realised I had a love for every genre and there didn’t seem to be anything I didn’t like or appreciate. I then purchased some music software and began mashing up songs. I shared them with my friends and they all loved it. I would then always be the one in charge of selecting music for car rides or house parties and it grew from there. I was a solo DJ for the first time at university and started working at the local bars and clubs. I fell in love with it. I was asked by a friend to work his Christmas party and that’s how it became a full-time job for me.
This event is your event. I’m here to act as MC, making sure the atmosphere is perfect and assisting you in crafting a brilliant time for all. Not everyone realises just how important music is to an event, even if it’s in the background and no one is dancing. It’s my job to cover those bases for you. I’m totally flexible with requests and will always run through the setlist and timings of the event with you beforehand. You don’t want the most active songs when people are primed for a slow dance. Music can help guide an event and I’m here to help you.

We honestly cannot emphasise how good Jason is. If you're on the fence searching for a wedding DJ, just stop looking and book Jason - you will not regret it. From start to finish, Jason was brilliant. He was happy to have as many zoom meetings as needed to go through questions before booking and took into account all our ‘must plays’ and ‘do not plays’. He took so much stress and thinking away from the planning and just got on with things without us having to ask. Communication all round was excellent and he made sure to check in the week before which was reassuring. On the night, Jason arrived early and set up seamlessly in the background without being obtrusive. His kit was really high quality and made all the songs sound great (great bass if you’re a bass lover like us!) and lighting was perfect for the dance floor. On the night, we were so pleased to hear how Jason had incorporated our ‘must plays’ and the quality of mixing was excellent with no ‘clunky’ transitions as can be the case with other DJs. It was clear how Jason had taken away our ideas and worked to create some custom transitions / mixes. Nothing was too much trouble and Jason is genuinely one of the friendliest people we’ve ever met. Overall, we are SO SO glad we picked him. We also felt the value for the service and quality we received was exceptional. Our heartfelt thanks to Jason and we would not hesitate to book for other events.

I hired Ian for my 21st birthday, and I can say he absolutely smashed it out the park! From the song list, to the set up and the friendly communication, Ian was an absolute hit with all the guests! Having many people come up to me during the function and mention how good the DJ is doesn't begin to reflect the quality of his services. If you're looking for a DJ, Ian is absolutely the man for it!
