We have therefore come up with a couple of options to help you plan the perfect event. Option 1. Initial Ideas – You just want a chat about your event and some to throw around some ideas. Option 2. Initial Ideas & Venue Finding – We chat to you about your event ideas and requirements, you have a date in mind and want to go ahead and book a venue. After our meeting you will receive an email outlining what we discussed, venue/s information, contacts, costs to hire and availability. Option 3. Event Planner – So you have read the above and you need more involvement from us. The next level is for us to book your entertainment, photographer, produce artwork & print, create a budget and put it all together for you to enjoy. Option 4. Event Manager – So we have done all the above, you and your guests can’t wait for the party and everything has been arranged but you want more. Why not ask us to be your event manager for the evening? Yes its very Beverly Hills but a great value service which allows you to totally relax. Your event manager will liaison and organise with entertainers, venue management, your guests and help organise travel all you need do is simply soak up your guests compliments on an amazing party.

How would you describe your ‘style’?

This will always be my favourite club in Cardiff. It came along when there was a real lack of good clubs in the city and filled that void perfectly, combining great bookings with a friendly atmosphere and good sound.
The crowd is a good mix of more seasoned locals and some bright young students and, as well as cool gigs, it has fantastic regular nights!

What do you love most about your job?

I love being an event manager , if you do it right, you get invited to all the cool parties . Every project, every strategy and every critical decision your company makes will have your fingerprint on it in a good way.

What inspired you to start your own business?

I think it takes more than a single moment to compel someone to do something unusual and risky. For me, it was a series of things that compelled me to start up a new business venture!

With over a decade of experience promoting and managing a wide range of events we love what we do and have learnt a lot. From corporate parties, intimate live music, to awards evenings and large club nights we have done most things involving music, dancefloors and party people.

We differ from most other events consultants in that we run our own weekly events, like you we are investing our own money in events. That makes us focussed on costs, always after a good deal from suppliers and aware of constant changes in the market.

We have working relationships with local musicians, performers and DJs as well as contact with agents who represent high profile national and international artists.

It normally takes around 30-40 minutes for a DJ to set up their equipment but this could change depending on the specific DJ, venue, and event.

Most DJs will offer lighting hire either as an add-on or as part of their general service. Although it really depends on the DJ and the packages they offer. For example, a DJ may include floor lighting as a standard part of the service but then charge extra for more advanced lighting equipment including bar lights and moving headlights.

Most DJs will curate a playlist based on your requests and provide it to you in advance of the event, just to make sure that you’re happy with it and to make tweaks if necessary. How much freedom you give to your DJ in terms of creating the music list is essentially down to you. Some customers prefer to request almost every artist/track on the playlist, whereas others are happy for the DJ to take the reigns and come up with the tracks themselves.
