Not only do I get to spend my time listening to some of the greatest songs in history, but I get to meet a huge range of people. Every event is different. No two weddings are the same and corporate events can be absolutely riotous! Birthdays are some of my favourite parties to work with as you get to be a part of such an amazing diversity of styles.
I began by being into music more than most people as a teen. I realised I had a love for every genre and there didn’t seem to be anything I didn’t like or appreciate. I then purchased some music software and began mashing up songs. I shared them with my friends and they all loved it. I would then always be the one in charge of selecting music for car rides or house parties and it grew from there. I was a solo DJ for the first time at university and started working at the local bars and clubs. I fell in love with it. I was asked by a friend to work his Christmas party and that’s how it became a full-time job for me.
This event is your event. I’m here to act as MC, making sure the atmosphere is perfect and assisting you in crafting a brilliant time for all. Not everyone realises just how important music is to an event, even if it’s in the background and no one is dancing. It’s my job to cover those bases for you. I’m totally flexible with requests and will always run through the setlist and timings of the event with you beforehand. You don’t want the most active songs when people are primed for a slow dance. Music can help guide an event and I’m here to help you.

Working with Peter was nothing short of amazing! We found him through a website, and after reading all of his wonderful reviews, we knew we had to reach out. When planning a wedding, having a great DJ is so important, and Peter exceeded our expectations from the very first time we met him. He made the entire process so smooth and stress-free. Our guests couldn’t stop talking about how incredible he was! He kept the party going all night, read the room perfectly, and made sure to incorporate so many of the songs and music styles we wanted. Peter truly helped make our wedding unforgettable. I would highly recommend him to anyone planning a wedding or any type of event. He is honestly one of the best DJs we’ve ever had the pleasure of working with!

Mauriice The DJ was a last minute replacement for my original dj who fell ill 4 hours before he was scheduled to arrive. Mauriice was quick to reach out and arrived well prepared and played outstanding music for our guests. The party was a roaring success thanks to Mauriice spinning our tunes all night long. Very professional and highly attentive to all details he comes highly recommended to others. Thanks Mauriice for a wonderful evening.
