What’s the secret to keeping a party dancing all night long?

The 'secret' is experience, the 'ART' is the ability to read the crowd and anticipate what they want to hear next, changing tempos, rhythms, genres and catching them off guard with unexpected hits that are certain to get everyone running to the dance floor.

How would you describe your ‘style’?

I would describe my style as divers. I love all musical genres across the years. The mix of tempos, rhythms and styles give's me the flexibility to jump from sound to sound keeping my guests on their toes, never being able to anticipate what the next track might be but always loving it when I play it. I play all music and tempos but I rarely break my mixing, keeping the music flowing continuously. It is this combination that builds the energy up to the point that people can't help but jump around and dance. You can see this in my videos supplied below!

What do you love most about your job?

The thing I love most about my job is bringing people out of their skin just by playing the right song at the right time. There is something truly satisfying when you play a song that is unexpected but yet the crowd loves, there is a moment where the guests forget where they are and just scream or jump with excitement. When you have a large group do this all at the same time, the atmosphere is incredible and there is just nothing better.

What inspired you to start your own business?

I was inspired by music and my passion for performing in front of people, the business simply grew and developed from that.

Why should our clients choose you?

There are very few 'true' DJ's out there that understand the art of beat matching, mixing and careful song selection and there is even fewer in the mobile DJ industry. I found myself and my team of DJ's by chance in this industry simply as there was a love for all genres not just "House", RnB", "HipHop" etc. I loved 50's Rock n Roll, 60's pop, 80's soul, 90's dance and everything since including Pop, RnB, House, Garage, Hiphop, Reggae, Reggaeton, Salsa, Bhangra and more. We are also a registered, fully insured and PAT certified company meaning that you can rest assured that we know exactly what we are doing and have taken all necessary precautions to ensure your event is a huge success.

It normally takes around 30-40 minutes for a DJ to set up their equipment but this could change depending on the specific DJ, venue, and event.

Most DJs will offer lighting hire either as an add-on or as part of their general service. Although it really depends on the DJ and the packages they offer. For example, a DJ may include floor lighting as a standard part of the service but then charge extra for more advanced lighting equipment including bar lights and moving headlights.

Most DJs will curate a playlist based on your requests and provide it to you in advance of the event, just to make sure that you’re happy with it and to make tweaks if necessary. How much freedom you give to your DJ in terms of creating the music list is essentially down to you. Some customers prefer to request almost every artist/track on the playlist, whereas others are happy for the DJ to take the reigns and come up with the tracks themselves.
