These aren’t just exercise classes. Your Personal Pilates Programme will be designed around you to give you a better spine, stronger muscles yet more flexibility. Once you've mastered the basics, you can start "Pilates Gym" sessions on Reformers, Chair, Trapeze and Barrels. Better than group classes, you'll workout at your own pace and still have discounted 1:1 sessions to turbocharge your progress. Compensations and imbalances will be evened out. Chances of injury in sport and in daily life, minimised. Family, friends and colleagues will notice the new you. Everything you need to say "goodbye" to backache for good! Discover how to get fit and reconnect to your body! Whether you’re training for an Ironman Triathlon, want to do the garden without pain, recover after childbirth or just want to reach up to the overhead kitchen cupboards like you once did: Pilates will help you achieve these goals. You'll look better, perform better and live better. Your spine will thank you. You'll be stronger and more mobile.
I love that Pilates is a true Mind, Body, Spirit discipline. The mind because you have to concentrate, the Body because that's what we're working out and the Spirit because we learn discipline and commitment to our own wellbeing and to getting the best performance we can out of each exercise.
I believe that Pilates is the single most efficient and broadest in scope Workout Method, bar none.
Progress to finding the best balance within your imbalances is guaranteed, provided that you put the work in. We are teachers, not instructors, that means you'll learn. The upshot is that you'll become independent in your own practice and own all the tools you need to keep your spine in top condition for the whole of your life.
I do teach via Zoom. But Pilates is taught via tactile cues as well as voice, so visits to the studio are best.
Social distancing measures are in place and the number of people allowed into the studio at any one time are limited.
Apparatus is cleaned after every use and hand sanitising is in place on entrance and exiting.
