What inspired you to start your own business?

I’m of the opinion that humans are part of nature and not separate from it. Nature, given the opportunity, has the incredible ability to heal. And so if we are nature, our bodies have the ability to do this, too.

We’ve spent years using the Earth as a commodity and we treat our bodies in the same way, expecting them to show up for us day in, day out, without giving them the respect they need. But our bodies are our allies, and I believe we owe them the space to regenerate, be well and thrive, instead of simply keeping up with our demands.

In 2015 I took a career change and re-trained as a Pilates teacher and massage therapist, so I could delve deep into anatomy, the power of breath and the body’s ability to transform, heal and find balance. I completed my 200hr Yoga Teacher Training to extend my ability to tap into mind-body connections and spirituality, and promote a balanced lifestyle to others.

Led by my unending curiosity, I wanted to see the science that explained the benefits of these ancient practices. As a certified Integrative health coach, my practice combines Ayurvedic and traditional Chinese medicine with naturopathy and modern Orthomolecular and Functional Medicine. To me, this blend of science and holistic wellbeing is a perfect way to help others uncover their own ‘why?’ and find balance and happiness.

Why should our clients choose you?

I explore how complementary practices can be used in combination to improve wellbeing. By teaching ancient disciplines that are informed by modern science, I draw on a range of tools to help you move towards balance in your practice and in your daily life

Throughout our consultations, I’ll focus on the ‘why’s’ and ‘how’s’ - helping you to understand why your body is behaving in the way it does, and how - ultimately - you can manage your wellbeing and take control of your own health.
