I was searching Bark for a coach for my eldest (U13). At the time (Feb 26) my son was playing centre midfielder for a Sunday league for a division 6 team and was just looking to improve having gone to a paid trial in January and felt a bit demoralised. We started training with Vas. Within weeks my son was improving dramatically, taking everything Vas showed him into his matches. His level just exploded. The technical and tactical knowledge that he displayed in training and matches could only be attributed to his sessions with Vas. By the beginning of March, Vas had him training with South Gloucestershire RTC (JPL). Introducing him to a much higher standard of football and challenging him to improve. This only helped him develop faster alongside Vas's sessions. Finishing his U13 season top of the league and winning Player's Player would not had been possible without Vas's guidance, training and encouragement. Vas then got him a trail with a Div 2 team in the summer. He got in and is now playing regularly against div 2 and 1 teams (U14, 26/27 season). Within 6 months my boy has gained confidence, joined two teams where he did not know a soul and has become 20 times the footballer I thought he'd be. What is even more incredible to me, a parent watching this unfold, is the self belief my son has developed. This has had positive impacts to my sons school, his outlook and his dedication to improve in all things. We are obviously here to try and find the best football coach possible for our children. As the above displays, this is a given with Vas. However, Vas does more then just football. He cultivates an individual to work hard, be consistent, show up and do the work and good things will happen, in all parts of life. I cannot endorse Vas enough. He is a wonderful coach who really cares about his players. Thank you Vas

My son has been training with Vas for several months now, and I can’t recommend him enough! The training sessions are extremely well-organized and structured around specific topics. This allows my son to understand football concepts and techniques while practicing them in a safe and encouraging environment. Beyond football, Vas puts a lot of emphasis on developing a player’s mentality, character, and resilience—teaching values like not giving up when faced with a challenge, staying calm when things don’t go your way, and understanding the importance of hard work and determination. After every session, Vas provides detailed feedback, praising achievements while identifying areas for further development. He also follows up with a message explaining the topic of the week, along with links to useful resources and videos. We’ve tried plenty of places across Bristol, and Vas is easily the best we’ve come across.
