How do you help your clients achieve their fitness goals?

Initial one hour face to face consultation to understand the training history if any and discuss nutrition and current dietary requirements. Plus take full body measurements including body fat, muscle mass and visceral fat in order to build a clear picture of the client’s current situation in order to create an achievable fitness plan to reach their goals. Then the client logs all their eating over the next week so we can create a nutrition plan. Then we remain in constant communication to ensure full support throughout this journey. Everyone has their own path whether a beginner to fitness or an athlete.

What’s the secret to getting the body of your dreams?

Three pronged plan. Look after your physical fitness, nutrition and mental health/wellbeing. Create a plan and stick to it. If you fall off the wagon just jump back on the next day. Plus don’t compare yourself to others. Your body is unique.

What do you love most about your job?

Everything… my studio, my clients, their achievements, my dog Temple.
I wake up everyday and I feel blessed and happy that I chose this as my way to earn a living and support others in achieving their goals.

What inspired you to start your own business?

I have worked in the fitness industry for the last 15 years. My goal the moment I stepped into LA fitness ( showing my age) was to open my own wellness centre and deliver a service where the client is the most important person. I believe in quality of service. Our motto is very simple, “DARE TO BE GREAT” and I want all my clients to feel that.

Why should our clients choose you?

I have over 15 years knowledge in the industry and I am a qualified level 4 personal trainer, yoga teacher, martial arts instructor, pre and post natal qualified, posture analysis trained, running coach and a strength and condition coach. Plus, I have my own fitness studio to train my clients without any restrictions. The studio has three separate areas, weights and cardio, yoga/pilates/barre studio and the beautiful, spacious garden where we can train in spring and summer. The weights and cardio area is very private and we only have maximum 2 clients training at any one time. My teachers and I all share the same ethos about looking after the body as a whole. We welcome all levels of fitness and ages. Plus how can I not mention a welcome hug from our resident boss, Temple the beagle. Our approach is supportive yet challenging. Together we can achieve great things you didn’t think possible.

Can you provide your services online or remotely? If so, please add details.

We are happy to provide online training however we do recommend in person, if possible, as we can utilise our entire space and equipment.

What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?

We are a small studio, only two trainers and two clients maximum in the weights and cardio area so social distancing is not a problem. We have sanitiser stations throughout the whole studio and use of the garden as well.
