I had been teaching fitness classes at a number of centres for several years. I started teaching in 1996. I was teaching lots of Yoga and trained to become an Aerial Yoga teacher. Because of the specialist nature of the class it needed special ceiling to hold the aerial hammocks. I was unsure of taking the huge risk of starting out on my own, with my own venue when fate gave me a shove and I was made redundant from my job of managing a fitness studio in a large leisure centre. I took the decision to open up my own studio and fill it with classes that I loved but were available locally and in 2012 Heavenly Fitness opened

We have evolved. I bought a fogger to clean everything thoroughly and quickly.
Classes are now smaller and we are not sharing equipment. I try to stagger class times to avoid too many people entering and leaving at the same time. There are lots of other measures in place such as sanitisers everywhere, individual towels and pole clothes supplied
