Personal Trainer Level 4

I am a Level 4 Personal Trainer and a Physiotherapy student in my second year. I'm a former army officer (finished service in September 2021). I am your personal trainer for the job if you have postural imbalances, feel unfit, or have decided to change your body image or simply become healthier, whether you are 18 or 80, if you are unfit or have a health problem. My additional skills include Aikido Black Belt, Taekwondo Black Belt, weight loss advice, and training. I am a certified conditioning specialist and boot camp instructor with extensive experience (army system). I am the right person for the job if you want to be an Olympian or just the healthiest looking person in the gym. If you need assistance, I'm here to assist you.

How do you help your clients achieve their fitness goals?

I pay close attention to my clients' wants and needs first and foremost. I place a high value on understanding my clients' needs and desires. Before we begin any training, I'll conduct a Par Q health screening questionnaire. To see if any muscles are underactive or overactive, I will perform three movement assessments: Overhead Squat Assessment, Pushing Assessment, and Pulling Assessment. This section of the evaluation is crucial for achieving the client's SMART goal and preventing future injuries. Following a postural assessment, I will create a scientifically proven programme to meet the needs and desires of the client.

What’s the secret to getting the body of your dreams?

The intrinsic goal motivation of the client (dream about staying healthy and fit). Great Coach's professional science-based knowledge, understanding, and constant motivational support from the start, despite adversity and sweat Never give up until you've exhausted all other options. But then you still don't give up.

What do you love most about your job?

Making a positive difference in people's lives has a lot of power. I enjoy seeing people grow in strength, health, and happiness. It is a real pleasure for me to work with any client with any fitness goal, whether their goal is to stay strong and healthy or simply to stay fit.

What inspired you to start your own business?

Making a positive difference in people's lives has tremendous power. I enjoy seeing people grow stronger, especially when I believe I can play a part in it. It is a real pleasure for me to work with any client with any fitness goal to go on a journey with them, whether their goal is to stay strong and healthy or simply to stay fit. Both of us are in this for the long haul.

Why should our clients choose you?

Being a great personal trainer necessitates continuous learning, and while it is impossible to know everything there is to know about the human body, it is critical to continue learning in order to gain the most up-to-date and peer-reviewed medical knowledge.

When working with a client, the most important first task is postural assessment, which will make a significant difference in the client's goal journey. Only comprehensive scientific knowledge and a professionally designed SMART training programme, in my opinion, will provide a client with the desired body results. That is why I am confident that my knowledge as a Certified Personal Trainer is based on the knowledge and experience I gained from my university's physiotherapy studies. The decision is yours and you are the one who is best for your body results :-).

Can you provide your services online or remotely? If so, please add details.

I love working 1:1, but if online is the only option I am happy to be a part of your new fitness journey.

What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?

I always wear a mask when I'm about to work with a client. After each client, I always disinfect my sports equipment. If I need it, I always have medical-grade antibacterial spray on me. I collaborate with a client to ensure that health and safety procedures are followed at all times.

Personal Trainers FAQs

It depends on your end goal. If you’re training for a marathon, you might work out nearly every day of the week. If you’re a low-level beginner, a minimum of three times a week is enough to make a noticeable impact. No matter what you’re working out for, everyone needs rest and recovery days. Without them, your muscles won’t be able to recuperate and grow strong, so remember to factor in some down-time, too!

Yes! First of all, they will chat with you about your goals, and discuss the best way to achieve them. They should also ask you to fill in a consent form to check that you don’t have any pre-existing health conditions that could impact your exercise. They’ll also carry out a health assessment to get a better idea of your current fitness level, tailoring your workout plan around that.

It's tricky to say, as personal training sessions vary significantly depending on what you want to achieve and the type of workout. Generally, one personal training session tends to last forty-five minutes to one hour. It will start with a gentle warm-up, followed by the nitty-gritty of the actual workout, with stretches to end the session. Remember, warming up and stretching is essential for injury prevention - it’s just as important as the main part of the workout!

A personal trainer needs to be clued up on all aspects of fitness, from the most effective exercise techniques to nutrition and human anatomy- that’s a lot of responsibility! You need to make sure your professional is suitably qualified for the job. After all, you shouldn’t cut corners when it comes to investing in your health. Make sure your trainer has the minimum qualifications required to practice. In the UK, this is the Level 3 Personal Trainer qualification.

Absolutely! Online personal training has become increasingly popular as more people are looking to maintain their fitness during lockdowns and gyms closing. As long as you and your personal trainer have a strong internet connection and a device to stream on like a laptop, tablet or smartphone, there's no reason why your session can't be delivered remotely.
