How do you help your clients achieve their fitness goals?

In this modern world, we’re all super busy, and it can be so hard to fit a regular exercise programme into our lifestyles. Finding time to get to the gym and then deciding what to do once you are there can be a bit of a mission. That’s why I take all the stress out of that for you.

Being a mobile Personal Trainer means I can come to you. Or you can come to me. Or we could meet somewhere that’s easy for everyone such as a park or the beach. That’s the beauty of it, you don’t need a gym or any fancy equipment to get fit, so as long as there is a bit of space, we can pretty much train together anywhere.

For each session I’ll come prepared with a workout that is personalised to you and your fitness goals. I’ll then set you some challenges to work on while I’m not with you so that you are keeping it going in between sessions. And I’m always on hand via email, text or even Skype or FaceTime to help with advice and support to make sure you stay on track.

What’s the secret to getting the body of your dreams?

Be kind to yourself. We all know that to get a fit and healthy body we need the right balance of sensible eating and exercise, and although it's ok to have that little treat every now and then, make sure it is only every now and then. I find that keeping a food diary or using apps like MyFitnessPal can really help keep a close eye on those treats, and don't beat yourself up if you do indulge every once in a while, just make sure you get right back on track the next day and you're bound to see results.

What do you love most about your job?

I love helping people achieve more than they thought they could achieve. Some of my clients have started training me with completely unaware of what they're body is capable of doing. But with the right coaching and support (and lots of encouragement), they can achieve anything they set their minds to and seeing that happen really makes my job worthwhile.

What inspired you to start your own business?

Ever since I was a little girl, I've loved fitness and sport and adventures in the great outdoors. Then after a 10 year career in the corporate world of marketing, I decided it was time to follow my dream and become a personal trainer and life coach. In my mind, I wanted to share my passion for fitness with those who might be a little nervous or unsure, and hopefully help them to love fitness too.

I'm just like you. I'm not a scary drill sergeant or intimidating bikini model. I'm just a girl who is passionate about fitness and keeping active and want to share my passion, knowledge and expertise with you.
