The services I offer my clients are personal training sessions at Anytime Fitness Gym in Poole. I also offer mobile personal training, in particular going to clients homes, nearby park, beach or their workplace. My training programmes include programmes for weight loss; specifically for those who want to lose weight for occasions such as a holiday, wedding or Christmas. Programmes for sports performance, muscle gain, improved toning (6 pack), decrease blood pressure, increased wellbeing and stress reduction and nutritional advice and guidance. I also specialise in ante and post natal training and training for older adults. In addition I also offer a private zumba, street dance training, running event and triathlon training. I am based in Poole, but travel to surrounding areas: Bournemouth, Sandbanks, Upton, Wareham.

How do you help your clients achieve their fitness goals?

The goal has to motivate you. There needs to be something that drives you to ensure that when things get tough you keep sticking to the plan. It might be that you are insecure and unhappy with the way you look. It might be being able to improve your fitness in order to play football with your children. It might be that you have an upcoming party, holiday or wedding you want to lose weight for. Write your goal down on a card and keep it with you in your purse or wallet, put it on your fridge, car dash board or at your desk at work. Keep it with you and make sure you are reading it several times a day. Your goal is to show up to your sessions and put in the hard work. I recommend a minimum of 2 sessions per week and one home workout. I understand that everyone has busy schedules, but I am going to ask you to create the time and make training a priority. Be sure to create a support system. Use your family and friends as a crutch during this time by filling them in on your goals and letting them know why you are doing this for yourself. Make sure they know you need their support. You will be surprised how much this helps when things get tough for you. Be prepared-keep good food in your fridge and cupboards. Plan ahead to take healthy meals to work. Set yourself up for success.

Training, nutrition and lifestyle are the 3 key secret factors for success and achieving the body of your dreams. It is my goal to help you modify all 3 of these factors to ensure that you are setting yourself up for success. In order to succeed you must be committed and motivated to do this. I am here to help you and give you guidance, but you will be accountable for your actions. It is you who must make the a conscious effort to follow the structured programme in order to gain results and start making positive changes.

What do you love most about your job?

Throughout my career, I have shown that I can provide these imaginative yet challenging sessions. Seeing faces light up when the clients have reached their personal best, or completed a tratholon or reached their goal weight, rehabilitated from an injury and watching their overall development has been highly rewarding. I believe I am a creative trainer and I have used my enthusiasm to bring the sessions alive. I have found that varying my training strategies, creating new challenges and regularly checking clients progress and making them accountable has led to them becoming much more motivated and has led to a greater determination to achieve their goal.

What inspired you to start your own business?

Throughout my career I have always been very driven and having my own business was a dream of mine. My dream is now reality and I am loving it! I enjoy running my own business and being the boss. I enjoy passing on my passion of exercise and watching my clients achieve lasting results.
