My experience of working with Mike, over the last three years, is that I have found his very professional approach, combined with his friendly manner and his ability to create training sessions and programmes that are interesting, varied, fun and tailored to my personal needs and lifestyle results in every training session being extremely rewarding and productive. I can see my progression and have a sense of achievement.He is very skilled at motivating and encouraging me, setting 'doable' challenges and goals and offering lots of interesting information, sage advice and useful recommendations. As a recently retired, very busy lady, who can find lots of things to do rather than exercise, I would highly recommend Mike to anyone who needs that extra something to make them get up and get moving! Mike's circuit training combines a variety of different exercises with a fun class at a range of interesting outdoor venues. In a relatively short time Mike has given me back my strength and confidence. With his invaluable help, I have sailed through a major operation and built up my strength again afterwards. He pushes you hard  harder than you would on your own, but never too hard. Mike picks up very quickly what you need to work on, and his extensive experience and knowledge means that you are always working to an individual programme that is just for you. He is very flexible, and will work with you wherever you want either at home, in a park or in a gym. He carries an amazing amount of equipment in his car! Mike has been coaching me for the past 4 years. As a veteran athlete in my mid fifties I have benefitted enormously from the improved strength and conditioning that his sessions bring. This helped me to achieve a silver medal in the British Masters 10 mile Championships and a bronze in the 10k Championships in 2012.His sessions are always hard work but also varied and fun. He has a great sense of humour and is easy to get along with. His clients vary from complete fitness novices to experienced athletes like myself.I would highly recommend Mike as a personal trainer particularly if you are well motivated to make changes yourself.
