Review for Sam at Homes in Harmony As a busy university student who has a passion for fashion and little time for home organising, Sam’s KonMari clothing category session provided me with the perfect way to gain structure and ease when picking out outfits to wear. My vision for my clothes and my clothing organisation was one where I could easily see what items I have, so putting together different outfits was easy and quick to fit into my busy lifestyle. Sam took my original vision and went the full mile with helping me utilise what storage I originally had at the end it all looked so neat and tidy and also very aesthetically pleasing. My wardrobe and chest of drawers were full to the brim of clothes that dated back to 2012; many possessions I had been reluctant to dispose of but no longer brought me joy. Sam was absolutely amazing in describing and educating me in how the KonMari method works, and I began evaluating my clothing choices immediately. With Sam’s patience and help, I went through every item of my clothing and by the end of our session, I knew that I had everything I loved and needed. My original problems were that I was overwhelmed with the amount of clothes I possessed, and because I had no structure to my clothing organisation, I was not even aware of many items of clothing I had. This had led me to wearing the same items because I had no motivation to sort through old clothes. Sam really helped me figure out which clothes “sparked joy” and then taught me to let items go with gratitude (thanking the item for its service). With Sam’s expert advice I now know how to work out how best to store items such as underwear and bras, and which items can be hung or folded. I would recommend Sam’s service wholeheartedly; she is so motivational and organised and she genuinely loves and enjoys what she does. It is not just a job to her, but a passion and her passion for organisation is infectious. Throughout the KonMari session Sam was incredibly kind and understanding, making sure I was comfortable with the choices I was making. Previously, I found clothing organisation boring and tedious, yet after several hours with Sam, I began to find the process incredibly therapeutic and worthwhile. Sam taught me to cherish my items and by storing them with great care, it is now easier for me to put different outfits together because everything is organised in an efficient way for me to locate. No matter how overwhelmed and nervous I felt about the task ahead, Sam’s wonderful nature and amazing ability as a real people’s person always reassured me that the KonMari method would work wonders for me and my lifestyle, and she was right! I have struggled to embrace mindfulness with a constant busy schedule, but the KonMari method taught to me by Sam has made me realise the joys of only surrounding myself with what I truly love, going through the process of letting go items has increased my consciousness and mindfulness when it comes to purchasing clothes. Sam is absolutely incredible at what she does and will put her heart and soul into making sure you are completely happy with everything she has done with you. You will never regret opening your mind to the joys of the KonMari clothing session! Poppy Cooke
