I help people who want to get leaner, stronger and happier achieve their fitness goals. Most of my clients are new to exercise or don't like the typical gym environment. As someone who has lost a third of her body weight I know what it's like to feel heavy and unfit, and how confusing all the different advice can be! I offer nutrition and lifestyle advice as well as exclusive personal training sessions with full support and assessment along the way. I train clients in their homes, at my studio, in parks/outdoors as well as I have access to full gym facilities where you do not need to be a member if I am training you. You get ongoing support and programming for when you train without me, as well as meal planning advice. I also offer small group training, I hold regular classes and also do corporate group training. Here I specialise in HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) and Circuit training (run like a boot camp but without the scary stuff).

How do you help your clients achieve their fitness goals?

It helps to be really clear on the why. Why do you want to be fitter? Why do you want to run 10k? What will losing 10lbs mean to you? By understanding this, I can focus on making sure everything we do is taking you a step towards those goals. By tailoring to your individual needs, enabling you to take control over your diet and empowering you with structured programmes, added with the motivation and coaching I provide- this is how my clients get to their goals and maintain and improve ongoing.

What’s the secret to getting the body of your dreams?

Balance, between good nutrition and effective movement. Everyone dreams differently, but in most cases start with small changes and build good habits. When you have those in place you can then build on another level, without feeling overwhelmed or tempted to quit because it seems too much. A good routine also includes rest, good sleep and minimising stress.

What do you love most about your job?

When clients hit their goals, or surprise themselves with their own strength or talent at a particular exercise. I am a massive people person, so meeting lots of different people and sharing my passion for fitness with them, and seeing them achieve what they believed to be impossible is the biggest buzz.

What inspired you to start your own business?

I realised their were so many people like me, who were intimidated by a traditional gym environment (I love the gym now), and this was stopping them getting started. I heard my friends say, "I'd join a gym but I'm not fit enough", or " I really need to lose X lbs but I get really bored and don't know what to do". After losing a third of my bodyweight I knew I needed to help other to see there are so many different ways to work out, and it doesn't always have to be in a gym- and if it is, it can be really fun!

I am on your side, I'm not just a PT- I am a coach and your cheerleading squad to get you to achieve your results. I don't do "train and go", I look after every client as an individual and follow up in between sessions. You will have a trainer that has plenty of experience, especially with weightloss, HIIT/circuit/functional training, as well as strength and resistance training.
