I'd recommend this trainer to every person who wants to actually ACHIEVE something and not just talk about it, he's Mr "getting it done".
My eating habits have changed DRASTICALLY, as well as my normal routine throughout the day, I feel more positive about eating well, training hard and doing it right while sticking to it.
You cannot go off track with a trainer who makes sure you are doing what you are supposed to. Guidance every step to the way of your goals, brilliant guy to work with, a right laugh, also heavily knowledgable about bodybuilding and nutrition.
Don't delay if you're thinking about a PT and have come across Brodie, he genuinely does get you to where you want to be, makes our mind very optimistic and achieves goals realistically.
If you're unsure, just refer to previous work he's done with clients, everyone of them have a good view on him, he trains you hard and gets it done.
I've noticed differences in my moods, my outlook on general nutrition and various other things. The only way is up with this man. Make sure you go for this trainer if you are serious ! :)

I believe I can change the way you look at fitness, food & your lifestyle, through fully prioritising your lifestyle, health & goals. I can help you reach the body you desire & the mind set to go with it. But you need to be ready, willing & able to change. Physical results don't just come from a few trips to the gym each week. It comes from understanding, consistency, & arranging your priorities.

I have to admit, I was always skeptical about training with a PT. I never thought it would be any different to training myself but I definitely retract that opinion now. Allan caters to each clients goals and I think that's what helped me most. He supported me to gain the confidence, that I previously never had, to go and work out in the weights area of the gym. It can be absolutely nerve-racking to work out when you're not entirely sure of what you're doing but Allan gave me the push to overcome those fears as well as the knowledge to actually train properly. I can honestly say I'm more confident and more competent with my training in the gym! Can't thank you enough Allan!

Hi there, I work out of a private studio in the city centre, it’s a fantastic, chilled out environment and will never be chockablock (currently there are 3 full time trainers including myself, so we’re never falling over each other). It’s right next to Anderston station and a 10 minute walk from central, so ideal if you’re getting the train. There’s also street parking and a private car park right across the street that always has a few free spaces.

Steven is just the nicest, most sound guy who totally gets that it's hard and scary at the start, and who works to your own pace to help you gain confidence in your own skills. I was already interested in living a more fit and healthy life before I met Steven, but had no idea HOW. He was so patient with me when, consoling me through my frustrated tears when I had no idea what I was doing, and taking lots of time to explain why certain workouts weren't working and showing me ones that would. He's just the loveliest, most encouraging guy, who hates all that bro jargon as much as I do, and keeps it simple. He just makes it make sense. He made me WANT to do it, and actually look forward to the gym. He's worked harder than anyone I know on the theory of it all, and fully knows his stuff. Would 100% recommend to anyone who's ready to take that first step in living a fitter, healthier, more confident life.

Matt worked with me on a 12 week programme to improve my strength conditioning and flexibility. He is the most thorough PT I've ever had and really knows his stuff. The training was tough but with his methods, not only did I break through my barrier, but I really got into it, through working on ring, bar, weight lifting and flexibility exercises. On advanced moves he has his technique down to a T and can really push you to the next level. Over the past three months I've made real gains in my strength, my flexibility and learned about methods to mentally focus on tough moves. Most importantly I stayed motivated to push on. This guy can really help with the big changes you want to make to your fitness routine and is on hand all the time with advice. Great working with him!

You want to start training at the gym but you don’t know where to start. Maybe you’ve been training for a while now but aren’t seeing any changes, even though you’ve been trying. You want to eat more healthily, lose body fat and generally feel better about yourself, but you don’t want to be ‘on a diet’ or resort to extremes. You need someone to help you make changes and get results.

I trained with Louise from around March - August 2017, so this review is long overdue! I have had a few personal trainers in the past, but none of them even come close in comparison to Louise. Louise was attentive from the start, listened closely to my goals and designed a robust training plan which complemented those goals amazingly. She adjusted the plan to work around injuries...and I am convinced that the adjustments helped to rehabilitate a shoulder injury from which now i am pain free! Not only did I see physical improvements but also felt mentally better after working out with her guidance. In short, I can't recommend Louise enough!

SPECIALISING IN: Boxing Kickboxing Weight loss Muscle gain Qualifications: Active IQ level 2 Gym Instructor Active IQ level 3 Personal Training Pending - Active IQ level 3 Award in supporting pre and postnatal clients with exercise and nutrition ABOUT ME My fitness journey started around 7 years ago initially just to lose some weight and get a little fitter. The intention was never there to compete but I found a love for kickboxing and decide to challenge myself to see how far I could go. I then went onto win several Scottish titles and two world titles as well as accepting a place on the GB boxing squad for the Tokyo Olympic cycle where I trained with the best amateur athletes in Sheffield for around 18 months. I then made the decision to stop competing due to injury and decide it was time to use my experiences and knowledge gained throughout the years to help others believe in themselves and help push them to achieve their goals. I’m proud of everything I have achieved in my sporting career, it shows that anything is possible if you put the work in. I haven’t only lost weight and got fitter but I have gained masses of confidence and now a much stronger person both physically and mentally. I am there every step of the way, giving advice to my clients 24/7. I push them to there full potential each and every session. Training plans are personalised to clients specific goals and help with nutrition is provided to keep them on track outside of the gym.
Being consistent with both training and diet will help you acheive your goals.
I love being able to transform my client's lives for the better. Recently I had a client approach me looking to loose some weight. He has managed to acheive a current loss of 10kg, he hasn't only lost weight but his blood pressure is now normal from being dangerously high, he now sleeps better at night and he has more energy. His diet has also improved dramatically.
I was an amateur kickboxer and boxer for years and had to give this up due to injuries. I was once overweight before starting my sport and wanted to find something to help me lose weight, I ended up hooked on the sport. I'm now in the best shape I have ever been and I now want to inspire and help people acheive their goals as anything is possible when you put your mind to it and have the right professional guidance
With each and every client I train, I do everything I can to help them acheive their goals. I genuinely care about all my clients and love seeing them achieve their goals. I'm there 24 hours of the day to help clients stay on track.
Should I work out every day of the week?
It depends on your end goal. If you’re training for a marathon, you might work out nearly every day of the week. If you’re a low-level beginner, a minimum of three times a week is enough to make a noticeable impact. No matter what you’re working out for, everyone needs rest and recovery days. Without them, your muscles won’t be able to recuperate and grow strong, so remember to factor in some down-time, too!
Where can I have my personal training sessions?
Pretty much anywhere! The great thing about personal training is that it’s flexible - as long as you have the necessary equipment, you and your instructor can decide to have your sessions from the gym, your home, the park, or even your office if you want to!
Does my fitness instructor need to know anything about me?
Yes! First of all, they will chat with you about your goals, and discuss the best way to achieve them. They should also ask you to fill in a consent form to check that you don’t have any pre-existing health conditions that could impact your exercise. They’ll also carry out a health assessment to get a better idea of your current fitness level, tailoring your workout plan around that.
What does a standard personal training session involve?
It's tricky to say, as personal training sessions vary significantly depending on what you want to achieve and the type of workout. Generally, one personal training session tends to last forty-five minutes to one hour. It will start with a gentle warm-up, followed by the nitty-gritty of the actual workout, with stretches to end the session. Remember, warming up and stretching is essential for injury prevention - it’s just as important as the main part of the workout!
What qualifications should a personal trainer have?
A personal trainer needs to be clued up on all aspects of fitness, from the most effective exercise techniques to nutrition and human anatomy- that’s a lot of responsibility! You need to make sure your professional is suitably qualified for the job. After all, you shouldn’t cut corners when it comes to investing in your health. Make sure your trainer has the minimum qualifications required to practice. In the UK, this is the Level 3 Personal Trainer qualification.
Can I get a Personal Trainer online?
Absolutely! Online personal training has become increasingly popular as more people are looking to maintain their fitness during lockdowns and gyms closing. As long as you and your personal trainer have a strong internet connection and a device to stream on like a laptop, tablet or smartphone, there's no reason why your session can't be delivered remotely.
