Hi there, my name is Cormac. Having spent 12 years as a Personal Trainer at Virgin Active in London. I am now working as a freelance Personal Trainer in Horsham and surronding areas.

After being put in touch with Cormac through the recommendation of a colleague, I’ve been having sessions with him since. He knows his stuff and would happily recommend him to anyone.

Cormac found me trying to use equipment in the gym that I wasn't strong enough or coordinated enough to use. He gave me a few exercises I could do to build up my core strength at first. Since then he has trained me for 18 months, including over zoom during lockdown, and has made a real difference to my health. I had been working super-long hours and had neglected my exercise so Cormac has built up my strength from a poor level to a good level. He pays real attention to the person he is coaching to ensure his exercises provide the right challenge and that their form is correct. He changes things up to makes sessions interesting - I have done a huge range of different exercises while Cormac has been training me and he substitutes alternative exercises to work around any aches and niggles. He is also quite demanding and seems to know how much I can manage so I always feel I have had a good workout after one of his sessions. More...

Cormac is an excellent trainer that is always challenging me and seems to know my level and how much more I can be pushed more than I do. He is always finding interesting ways to change-up exercises as I progress while providing a full body workout. Cormac is a very perceptive trainer and easy to work with while still being able to make workouts rewarding.
I work full time, travel a lot for work and Cormac is great with his flexible schedule. We can always find time for a session despite our mutually busy schedules. Additionally, I am really happy with Cormac on a personal level – he makes exercising fun, and interesting.

Cormac is an experienced personal trainer who has changed my life for the better by getting fitter and stronger. His sessions are personalized, focused on your goals and a lot of fun. During the sessions he is completely focused on you and you don't feel alone in your battle!
Great to give you motivation. After a few weeks I discovered the pleasure of repeating our exercises every day, between our sessions. I was so proud of the daily transformations of my body shape ... amazing!

Cormac is one of the best personal trainers I know. He is very knowledgeable and offers alternative exercises if something doesn’t feel quite right. He is always there to slightly correct my form and he always challenges me to push a little harder so I get the results I want. The aim at CormacPersonalTraining is to help you identify your fitness goals, to design an exercise programme that fits your needs and guide you through every exercise, every workout. My approach to health and fitness is to teach you the basics first, whilst educating and influencing you to a healthier lifestyle.

I believe the best way to achieve the body of your dreams is to set out SMART goals at the beginning of your training. Set short, medium and long term goals that are realistic and achievable. After this go find your diary and mark in at least 3 times a week where you commit to exercising.

Getting the body of your dreams is about doing the right things consistently, which means having a good diet in place as well as training 3 + times a week.

It is important to focus each week on developing good habits, it doesn’t matter how big or small they are.

Remember to be positive and patient and it will happen!

Yes I provide session online sessions through the platform Zoom or Microsoft Teams.

I can also travel to you at your home, your local park, office or at my studio to provide my services.

I have a full range of exercise equipment for us to use in our sessions.

In order to keep clients safe and comfortable during sessions, I ensure:

I maintain 2 metre distancing throughout the session
All equipment is cleaned before and after use by antibacterial spray
Sessions can be done online if client doesn’t want in person training
I am fully vaccinated and have also received my booster jab within the last 6 months
