One of the members of staff couldn't stop looking at me while i was trying to do my laps. He kept bragging on about how it was so great doing nothing and still getting paid. Very uncomfortable experience

Great finish looks smart and has a cafe. Access to far side of hall is via the hall and not good if you are playing tennis. .. Needs some thought really but very good facility. Parking meagre for such a popular venue. Signs to get there confused as driving and reading you see Entrance but do not see the words next left nor the arrow pointing on along the road... LOL the number of drivers in the closed gates trying to get out again. More...

My son recently had his birthday party at the sports centre. If your children are into their sports I would highly recommend a party here. Everything was taken care of, four staff were dedicated to looking after 14 children all of whom had a great afternoon. The party food was great to replenish energy although I wouldn’t have bothered with brown bread sarnies. Lots of drinks in the warm weather. I highly recommend Bluecoats as a venue for a children’s party! My son had his 3rd birthday party here today and we had the best time! So many things for the children to do, amazingly attentive staff, really good food and such great value. Vast amount of modern equipment upstairs and downstairs - upstairs is ranging from multiple running machines, cycling machines, cross trainers and rowing machines. There is also a core training area, with various weights, mats, TRX and more. Downstairs houses the modern, recently expanded weight room. Bench press, leg press and various different weights are amongst the vast amounts of equipment located here. It's also notes they have a great swimming pool, with changing and shower rooms. Lockers are available. Frequent classes are held on site, usually within the sports hall or other rooms specifically for these classes. There's also an awesome cafe with lots of seats upstairs. Love this place... it's our second home! We have family membership and spend a lot of our time here. Body combat classes are great. .. the instructors Alex, Louise and Elaine are so motivational but lots of fun at the same time � My children also enjoy doing tennis, swimming, gymnastics and football here as well as making the most of the cafe!
