How do you help your clients achieve their fitness goals?

We help our clients achieve their goals by giving them a fully individualized plan, that is not only about exercise but also about nutrition and lifestyle. This is all completely bespoke and we work with each client in a collaborative process to help them get to where they would like to be.

On top of all this our clients get to come and complete their training programs at our bespoke facility in Crawley, where they will meet and become part of a small community of like minded people.

What’s the secret to getting the body of your dreams?

Firstly, we don't really think that way as a base - if we get caught up and solely focus on the 'body of our dreams' that implies a certain image and that we are gonna focus purely on that. Health and wellbeing for us is as much about helping our clients get into the best possible frame of mind and mental space as possible. We want our clients to obviously look good BUT also feel good. You can look awesome and be miserable as sin so we would rather focus on what will help people achieve happiness long term.

What do you love most about your job?

What we love is helping people who have been through the fitness mill, our clients have generally tried all the diets, all the fitness fads, they don't like a normal gym environment and they all want to find a way to exercise, nourish their bodies and live their lives that gives them a deeper sense of fulfillment. We love moving people away from viewing exercise as a compensatory behavior and into something that becomes part of their everyday lives.

What inspired you to start your own business?

We love helping people find fulfillment in fitness. The sense of achievement from helping people on an individual basis is just so incredibly rewarding. The relationships we build are genuine ones, lasting many years and we love knowing that we have had a positive impact on peoples lives and have educated them in a way to move, eat and live that will help them forever.

Because we are offering a truly unique individualized service unlike anyone else. We are all highly educated professional trainers, this isn't a hobby , for us, this is our career.

We are part of a larger group of gyms, there are a total of 60 OPEX Gyms throughout the world with currently only 3 in the UK.

We have been providing online coaching to members since 2015. This is not a new service to us and is as comprehensive as our onsite memberships.

What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?

We have implemented a full COVID-19 policy going over and above guidance from the UK Government and our governing body, UK Active. In summary we have greatly reduced capacity in the gym, increased times between sessions, implemented a thorough cleaning schedule and ask for all members to take extra precautions before coming to the gym.
