We all know qualifications aren't the be all and end but it's also the experience that matters. I have been training myself before it was legal for me to join a gym (12 years) and since then I have trained myself by using a variety of training approaches such as endurance training, strength training, crossfit, plyometrics and HIIT which has all helped me to continuously better myself both mentally and physically. After seeing results on myself I started sharing my passion for health and fitness by helping others achieve their goals through my personal training programmmes. I noticed from experience people were signing up to gyms but not using it as they were unsure what to do in the gym. I started offering a range of personal training services such as one to one, group based, outdoor based and home workouts. I have incorporated a variety of training methods into my clients programmes such as cardiovascular endurance, resistance training, flexibility training, power, strength and speed training which have been proven to develop clients body composition (fat loss) cardiovascular fitness and lean muscle mass. I ensure all clients have a personalised training programme which are tailored to their needs and goals and are continuously monitored to achieve consistent progress. I believe it's always important to monitor and continuously change what we do because without change you won't see any changes! Depending on your goals a range of creative exercises will be used as I believe creativity and variety is what makes exercise fun and if it is not enjoyable you will become demotivated. For example instead of running for 30 minutes to burn extra calories i will use HIIT( high intensity interval training) to achieve the same results in a smaller amount of time which will also promote lean muscle mass, in turn increasing our resting metabolic rate ( how many calories you burn sleeping all day). I use a holistic approach as it is not just exercise that helps us achieve our exercise goals but also nutrition and general well being which I also offer advice on. Nutrition plays a big part therefore nutritional programmes are also provided alongside exercise programmes. I am different to other personal trainers as I will build a professional client relationship with you where I will be on hand at all times when needed ( motivational, knowledge). By training with me, together we will make every small step count to achieve big dreams. I believe there should be no barriers (time, money) to achieving our goals which is why I am flexible in terms of the services I offer for example sessions are charged as little as £25 when bought in packages (contact me for more info). If you are ready to change your body and become a healthier happier version of you what are you waiting for?! Make the first step and contact me now for a free consultation. Free consultation provides you with the opportunity to discuss your goals and I can offer you general advice on the best training programme for you- completely free with no obligation to use my services. How do you help your clients achieve their fitness goals?

I carry out a free consultation with no obligation to buy my services which entails getting to know more about the client (yourself) . With this information we work together to decide on your goals which follow the SMART principles (specific, measurable, accurate, realistic and time manageable). Within this free consultation i provide nutritional and exercise advice.
I will carry out fitness tests which gives me an idea of your current fitness abilities in turn, allowing me to design an individualsed exercise programme tailored to yourself. You have the option to use me as a personal trainer for all of your sessions or if you do not want me to train you for every session you are free to follow the exercise programme yourself and have me personal train you once a week or less depending on your wants. Which ever option you take I will always monitor your progress which allows me to adapt your exercise plan accordingly to ensure you are making continuous progress. Alternatively if you would like one off personal training sessions to get more of a feel of what they are like this is an option too. Whether you decide to book a block session or a one of session I am always on hand via social media, telephone to keep you motivated and answer any questions you may have even if you are not booked in for a session at that moment in time.

What’s the secret to getting the body of your dreams?

We all know its becoming increasingly difficult to find time for ourselves and when we have limited free time the last thing you want to do is get active. Through my training sessions I will teach you how a 30 minute work out 3- 4 times a week is more than enough to achieve your goals whether it be strength conditioning, toning or weight loss. I will help you understand there is no need for endless exercise or a crash diet in order to reach your goals and instead I will show you how to make lifestyle changes which you will be surprised to see how much a small difference can go a long way.

What do you love most about your job?

Seeing clients achieving their goals and becoming happier individuals is what i live for- the feeling is extremely rewarding
I love meeting new people and building great relationships with one another
I have a passion for helping people so do not feel that getting a personal trainer will cause a financial strain on you - contact me and we will make it work whatever your circumstances are.

What inspired you to start your own business?

Self expression is the main reason why i started my own Personal Training business because i know so many people including myself that have struggled with their body image which impacts on their confidence and overall mental health. I started this business to give people in Essex, North and East London more opportunities to get fit and feel good about themselves.
I no longer want to work for a gym where you are stuck within their rules and regulations. My own business gives me the flexibility to deliver what the clients want - for example no restriction on timings. I aim to give people more opportunities by charging low prices and creating my own environment - taking personal training anywhere including gym, outdoor park, at home, online.

Lastly it is my passion to help others and i do not like the idea of clients being pressured to take out services or programmes. My own business allows me to work with clients (yourself) collaboratively by mutually agreeing what it is you want out of personal training.

Why should our clients choose you?

Professional individual with the ability to adapt according to the clients needs
As an enthusiastic motivator I work as a team with my clients ensuring I build excellent relationships where mutual respect and trust is achieved.
No contracts involved - training sessions can be done as and when wanted, group sessions also available
Cheaper than the average Personal Trainer in the UK.
Free consultations including nutritional and exercise advice if wanted

It depends on your end goal. If you’re training for a marathon, you might work out nearly every day of the week. If you’re a low-level beginner, a minimum of three times a week is enough to make a noticeable impact. No matter what you’re working out for, everyone needs rest and recovery days. Without them, your muscles won’t be able to recuperate and grow strong, so remember to factor in some down-time, too!

Pretty much anywhere! The great thing about personal training is that it’s flexible - as long as you have the necessary equipment, you and your instructor can decide to have your sessions from the gym, your home, the park, or even your office if you want to!

Yes! First of all, they will chat with you about your goals, and discuss the best way to achieve them. They should also ask you to fill in a consent form to check that you don’t have any pre-existing health conditions that could impact your exercise. They’ll also carry out a health assessment to get a better idea of your current fitness level, tailoring your workout plan around that.

It's tricky to say, as personal training sessions vary significantly depending on what you want to achieve and the type of workout. Generally, one personal training session tends to last forty-five minutes to one hour. It will start with a gentle warm-up, followed by the nitty-gritty of the actual workout, with stretches to end the session. Remember, warming up and stretching is essential for injury prevention - it’s just as important as the main part of the workout!

A personal trainer needs to be clued up on all aspects of fitness, from the most effective exercise techniques to nutrition and human anatomy- that’s a lot of responsibility! You need to make sure your professional is suitably qualified for the job. After all, you shouldn’t cut corners when it comes to investing in your health. Make sure your trainer has the minimum qualifications required to practice. In the UK, this is the Level 3 Personal Trainer qualification.
