Teaching is in Max’s blood, after taking his sporting fetes as far as he could Max decided the natural step was to coach others. “I wanted to become a personal trainer because I am not just passionate about fitness, but I am genuinely interested in people and how I can best serve them”.

Max is a great personal trainer and I feel in very safe hands when training with him. He knows my strengths and areas to work on and tailor programs to strengthen my body and suit my training goals.
His attention to details is phenomenal and he knows how to push me in the right amount and in a safe way.

Myself and my partner (late 20s male and female) were looking for couples personal training and we honestly struck gold with Max.
On a professional level we both connect with Max’s approach to personal training. Max has a whole body approach focussed on functional fitness, this means our fitness as a whole has improved hugely and not just in one or two areas in isolation. Max is also adept at ensuring we both get the most out of the sessions, despite differences in fitness!
Max helped us set our goals and we have seen big strides towards achieving them, we’re really pleased with our progress and believe it’s worth the investment and integral to a sustainable health lifestyle. We initially went in for 6 sessions but there is no doubt that this is a permanent feature of our routine.
On a personal note we were not 100 confident going into the process as we weren’t avid gym goers, but Max is extremely encouraging and has helped us improve our confidence levels. He’s also a generally great guy to talk too and is able to incorporate fun into the sessions which we appreciate!

Max has been an incredibly trainer since I first met him, building up my confidence, strength and endurance in a fun and productive pace.
I’ve grown so much since he built my programme, lost a lot of weight and it’s made me believe I can live a healthy and active life again. Max’s attention to detail is insane - if you so much as flinch when you lose your form he will know about it. He’s meticulous in his recording your progress, always breaking down how many reps he’s helped you and shows you actual progress of lifting heavier for more reps on your own.
Max is also really accommodating in working around your schedule, working late sometimes just so you can get a session in. After just a few sessions with him I ended up signing up for 40 sessions - basically because I knew I could trust Max with my training and progress. And no that wasn’t because of any hard sell technique - he is just an all round decent trainer. I enjoy our banter and having a laugh - as you can probably guess, I highly recommend him.

How do you help your clients achieve their fitness goals?
I always tell me clients I am your GPS to getting to where you want to be. I can't do the work for you but I can guide you to your destination. Together I help all my clients get to where they want to be.
What’s the secret to getting the body of your dreams?
Honestly there is no secret. Hard work and consistency is what pays off. Perhaps that is not what you want to hear. In a industry full of lies and deceit there will always be someone promising the world with a quick fix. However this will not last for long and I work with me clients in building the foundations for a happier and healthier life that is sustainable to adhere too.
What do you love most about your job?
I enjoy helping people and serving others. It gives me great pride to get someone A-B successfully and to see my clients successfully make the changed they need to make to achieve their goals.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I've always wanted to work for myself since I was a kid and working in the fitness world seemed like the natural progression for someone like myself who was highly active and successful in sport as a teenager.

I can provide services online over zoom however I prefer face to face. However I do have some clients I work with online using zoom as a platform to take sessions. These clients will need to have some equipment at home.
