Contacting Shane was one of the best decisions I have ever made. It was the point my life pivoted from what it was then to what it is now.
A year before finding Shane, I was overweight, demotivated and depressed. I was in a cycle of giving in to all my impulses towards comfort and turning away from any potential discomfort or hardship. This strategy was clearly not working for me and It was evident in most aspects of my life, physically, mentally and spiritually.
I had experience with a personal trainer in the past and I thought that that's what a personal trainer was, just someone to help talk you through exercises and give you the odd motivational comment. Shane is so much more than that. He is incredibly professional, highly educated and has worked with world class athletes and you can absolutely see why!
Shane even helped me to get my diet in order by providing me a personalized meal plan which helped me reach my weight goal.
Shane is the kind of guy who goes the extra mile for his clients and I would absolutely recommend Shane to anyone who wants to turn their lives around and start living a healthy and active life once again!

I have been working closely with Brodie for just over one month now and already the results are visably showing. The level of attention to detail Brodie gives to each aspect of his training accompanied by his vast wealth of knowledge is testimony to this. The training does not just stop and start in the gym as he is always there sharing knowledge, motivating or answering any questions you may have. I would highly recommend Brodie to anyone considering using a PT.

I have to admit, I was always skeptical about training with a PT. I never thought it would be any different to training myself but I definitely retract that opinion now. Allan caters to each clients goals and I think that's what helped me most. He supported me to gain the confidence, that I previously never had, to go and work out in the weights area of the gym. It can be absolutely nerve-racking to work out when you're not entirely sure of what you're doing but Allan gave me the push to overcome those fears as well as the knowledge to actually train properly. I can honestly say I'm more confident and more competent with my training in the gym! Can't thank you enough Allan!

Hi there, I work out of a private studio in the city centre, it’s a fantastic, chilled out environment and will never be chockablock (currently there are 3 full time trainers including myself, so we’re never falling over each other). It’s right next to Anderston station and a 10 minute walk from central, so ideal if you’re getting the train. There’s also street parking and a private car park right across the street that always has a few free spaces.

Steven is just the nicest, most sound guy who totally gets that it's hard and scary at the start, and who works to your own pace to help you gain confidence in your own skills. I was already interested in living a more fit and healthy life before I met Steven, but had no idea HOW. He was so patient with me when, consoling me through my frustrated tears when I had no idea what I was doing, and taking lots of time to explain why certain workouts weren't working and showing me ones that would. He's just the loveliest, most encouraging guy, who hates all that bro jargon as much as I do, and keeps it simple. He just makes it make sense. He made me WANT to do it, and actually look forward to the gym. He's worked harder than anyone I know on the theory of it all, and fully knows his stuff. Would 100% recommend to anyone who's ready to take that first step in living a fitter, healthier, more confident life.

I have known Garry over the past two years as my personal trainer, and now as my friend. I am very glad that I met him, he is very professional, patient and very passionate about his work. He is also an expert in what he does. Not only helps his clients by making them healthier but also helps them to become more confident. In my experience with him not only have I become physically more fit but also changed my life style and my attitudes toward living a healthier life.
He is always looking for new ways to challenge me (and his other clients), be it through GVT or pyramids. I never thought i would get into deadlifting as it was something I always struggled with. Now i am consistently hitting PB’s and always striving for more, that wouldn’t have been possible without Garry. Would recommend him to anyone!

Matt worked with me on a 12 week programme to improve my strength conditioning and flexibility. He is the most thorough PT I've ever had and really knows his stuff. The training was tough but with his methods, not only did I break through my barrier, but I really got into it, through working on ring, bar, weight lifting and flexibility exercises. On advanced moves he has his technique down to a T and can really push you to the next level. Over the past three months I've made real gains in my strength, my flexibility and learned about methods to mentally focus on tough moves. Most importantly I stayed motivated to push on. This guy can really help with the big changes you want to make to your fitness routine and is on hand all the time with advice. Great working with him!

B.fit Training offers an amazing experience when being trained whether it's personal training or the group sessions. The personal training is designed specific for you and your goal(s) from a first assessment you would receive a postural assessment to make sure that the program is personalised to you, with that you will receive guidance on nutrition. The ladies group sessions, this if more specific for ladies who aren't familiar with the gym environment and don't feel comfortable working out alone.

Brendan is an awesome PT, very good at listening to what your needs and your preferences are to match it with the perfect workout for you. All together he made training much more enjoyable, because he switches it up and makes sure you are enjoying yourself and at he same time burning the calories you need to burn. When I decided I was ready to train on my own he didn't just leave me on my own, but provided me with a 6 weeks plan to keep me going for a while. I would totally recommend training with him, good trainer and human being all around! Thanks Brendan!!!

You want to start training at the gym but you don’t know where to start. Maybe you’ve been training for a while now but aren’t seeing any changes, even though you’ve been trying. You want to eat more healthily, lose body fat and generally feel better about yourself, but you don’t want to be ‘on a diet’ or resort to extremes. You need someone to help you make changes and get results.

I trained with Louise from around March - August 2017, so this review is long overdue! I have had a few personal trainers in the past, but none of them even come close in comparison to Louise. Louise was attentive from the start, listened closely to my goals and designed a robust training plan which complemented those goals amazingly. She adjusted the plan to work around injuries...and I am convinced that the adjustments helped to rehabilitate a shoulder injury from which now i am pain free! Not only did I see physical improvements but also felt mentally better after working out with her guidance. In short, I can't recommend Louise enough!
I teach all my clients how to reach their goals with science- backed facts. I teach them how to keep them, forever. There's a lot of complicated bull***t out there. I simplify it and explain how to reach your fitness, fat loss, muscle building & toning goals, to name a few! I'm not like the average Personal Trainer. I specialise in a few subjects and have a 'lifestyle' approach to my coaching. We, as a team, overhaul your life (at your pace) to not only work towards long term fitness related goals, but career, family and other goals too. Setting the habits is key to keeping your amazing results! 1-1 personal training is great and it certainly has its place in our industry. However, most people need extra guidance and need to be taught why they aren't losing weight from exercise or their diet, and much more! Knowledge is power after all. This is where I come in, I analyse you. Teaching you about your body. One size doesn't fit all! In a nutshell... not only do I teach you lifelong skills about your body, nutrition, cooking and exercise- through the DigiCoach Academy. I also help you build new habits, analyse & track your progress, comment daily on your food diary, call you 1-2 times a week for additional coaching to make sure you're staying on track and boost accountability and adherence. To find out more how my premier Online Coaching can actually get you to your goals. Visit my website; www.the-digi-coach.com
Firstly, I like to start with a consultation call where we go through how everything works, what their goals are, what their lifestyle is like, their habits and behaviours, and if online coaching/ PT is for them.
After signing up we have a week where we track your calories to see your eating habits and how many calories you are eating and types (carbs, fat, protein).
One this has been done i work with you to set new habits (if needed), adjust your calories and give you target, education you through my books, guides, videos and other content on the app. I am always here for you when you need me with the touch of a button.
CALORIE. DEFICIT.
TIME.
TRUSTING THE PROCESS.
These 3 things are very hard, we are brainwashed at a young age to believe diets, pills, potions will get us the results we want. This is simply not true, I will teach you everything you need to know to become lean, toned, stronger and fitter.
I love helping people achieve their goals. It's as simple as that. I just love teaching, I love biology, bio-mechanics, fitness and nutrition. These fascinate me. I love seeing people becoming stronger, lose weight and become more happier and confident in themselves. It's extremely rewarding.
I wanted to help as many people as possible, 24/7. I didn't want to spend hours and hours on the gym floor anymore when i could deliver better service through DigiCoach.
I offer a lot more than what others provide you with. I have had personal trainers in the past sign me up but only to give me fitness advice. No support, never contacted me, no nutrition. I felt I was left in the dark.
It's important for me to provide exceptional support to all my client, guides on how to lose fat without losing muscle (to leave them toned), how to feel the strongest and fittest they ever have before. I want my clients to have a healthy relationship with their food and not need to cut anything they want. food for the body and food for the soul, this is how it should be. Achieving your goals.
Should I work out every day of the week?
It depends on your end goal. If you’re training for a marathon, you might work out nearly every day of the week. If you’re a low-level beginner, a minimum of three times a week is enough to make a noticeable impact. No matter what you’re working out for, everyone needs rest and recovery days. Without them, your muscles won’t be able to recuperate and grow strong, so remember to factor in some down-time, too!
Where can I have my personal training sessions?
Pretty much anywhere! The great thing about personal training is that it’s flexible - as long as you have the necessary equipment, you and your instructor can decide to have your sessions from the gym, your home, the park, or even your office if you want to!
Does my fitness instructor need to know anything about me?
Yes! First of all, they will chat with you about your goals, and discuss the best way to achieve them. They should also ask you to fill in a consent form to check that you don’t have any pre-existing health conditions that could impact your exercise. They’ll also carry out a health assessment to get a better idea of your current fitness level, tailoring your workout plan around that.
What does a standard personal training session involve?
It's tricky to say, as personal training sessions vary significantly depending on what you want to achieve and the type of workout. Generally, one personal training session tends to last forty-five minutes to one hour. It will start with a gentle warm-up, followed by the nitty-gritty of the actual workout, with stretches to end the session. Remember, warming up and stretching is essential for injury prevention - it’s just as important as the main part of the workout!
What qualifications should a personal trainer have?
A personal trainer needs to be clued up on all aspects of fitness, from the most effective exercise techniques to nutrition and human anatomy- that’s a lot of responsibility! You need to make sure your professional is suitably qualified for the job. After all, you shouldn’t cut corners when it comes to investing in your health. Make sure your trainer has the minimum qualifications required to practice. In the UK, this is the Level 3 Personal Trainer qualification.
Can I get a Personal Trainer online?
Absolutely! Online personal training has become increasingly popular as more people are looking to maintain their fitness during lockdowns and gyms closing. As long as you and your personal trainer have a strong internet connection and a device to stream on like a laptop, tablet or smartphone, there's no reason why your session can't be delivered remotely.
