I started off with absolutely no experience of work outs or proper nutrition, and 3 weeks in to the plan I have learned an incredible amount - to the point where people are constantly asking me how I’m doing it and for tips to help them! With a special interest in weight loss and body transformations, Kay’s passion is to empower women. Her mission is to educate women against the myth of cardio and dieting for weight loss and helping them to change their relationship with food.
As an MCQC self defence instructor, Kay is keen to use her skills to enable girls and women in her community and beyond to feel and be empowered. She will be running female only self defence classes from various locations.

What do you love most about your job?
My passion is to empower people, especially women, who feel hopeless about their bodies and weight. To educate people and see them change their relationship with food and their bodies is one of the most rewarding parts of my job. However, it is pretty awesome to see people doing things they never dreamed possible and inspiring their friends and family.
What inspired you to start your own business?
After having my three children I was 37, overweight, unhealthy, and desperately unhappy with my body. Thanks to a friend, I was introduced to my personal trainer discovered the benefits of weight training. The difference it made in my life and that of my entire family drives me to share that with as many people as I could. I studied personal training and nutrition so I could offer a comprehensive package.
