I’m E.J, an enthusiastic, positive and dedicated Online Coach and Personal Trainer committed to working with clients to achieve their goals in an effective and maintainable way. I come from a background of athletics, running and dance and have been training in the gym using a mixture of weight training and functional training for around 5 years now. Coming from a sporting background and after having faced my own mental struggles, I recognise the importance of mindset in order to effectively achieve physically. I have therefore developed an effective approach which helps clients to achieve maintainable results and develop self-confidence through an accumulation of small changes to nutrition and lifestyle habits. Clients work closely with me either in person or online through email, whatsapp, 1-1 calls and weekly check-ins (mental and physical) to keep them motivated, accountable and to use a new, smart method of thinking to transform their lives. Are you ready to take that first step away from diet and towards the mindset and body you have always dreamed of? Drop me a message and I will get back to you soon. I look forward to speaking with you!

How do you help your clients achieve their fitness goals?

Throw away numbers. Stop dieting and counting calories I get results with clients by enriching not restricting. We work closely together to ensure they have all the 1-1 support they need and more! It is a very different approach but is much more maintainable, enjoyable and most of all...it works!

What’s the secret to getting the body of your dreams?

MINDSET.
SUPPORT.
SELF-LOVE.
Those three key things are pinnacle to my work and enabling clients to achieve their dream results.

What do you love most about your job?

1. Helping people, seeing their pride in their results and see their confidence grow throughout the process.
2. Teaching People- educating people through the process means they are well equipped to maintain their results and motivation in the long term.

What inspired you to start your own business?

I have a specific way of doing things which I find works well for clients. I felt I could do this more if I worked for myself with my own ethos. Working for myself also means I am more flexible for clients and have more time to dedicate to my own professional development as an online coach which will also benefit my clients.

Why should our clients choose you?

People should choose me simply because, I am the bridge between their desire and their achievement. With me, they will never start over, never start again, never go on another diet. They will feel truly transformed and think of themselves, food and exercise with a completely different perspective, one that very few other professionals currently teach.

It depends on your end goal. If you’re training for a marathon, you might work out nearly every day of the week. If you’re a low-level beginner, a minimum of three times a week is enough to make a noticeable impact. No matter what you’re working out for, everyone needs rest and recovery days. Without them, your muscles won’t be able to recuperate and grow strong, so remember to factor in some down-time, too!

Pretty much anywhere! The great thing about personal training is that it’s flexible - as long as you have the necessary equipment, you and your instructor can decide to have your sessions from the gym, your home, the park, or even your office if you want to!

Yes! First of all, they will chat with you about your goals, and discuss the best way to achieve them. They should also ask you to fill in a consent form to check that you don’t have any pre-existing health conditions that could impact your exercise. They’ll also carry out a health assessment to get a better idea of your current fitness level, tailoring your workout plan around that.

It's tricky to say, as personal training sessions vary significantly depending on what you want to achieve and the type of workout. Generally, one personal training session tends to last forty-five minutes to one hour. It will start with a gentle warm-up, followed by the nitty-gritty of the actual workout, with stretches to end the session. Remember, warming up and stretching is essential for injury prevention - it’s just as important as the main part of the workout!

A personal trainer needs to be clued up on all aspects of fitness, from the most effective exercise techniques to nutrition and human anatomy- that’s a lot of responsibility! You need to make sure your professional is suitably qualified for the job. After all, you shouldn’t cut corners when it comes to investing in your health. Make sure your trainer has the minimum qualifications required to practice. In the UK, this is the Level 3 Personal Trainer qualification.
