I’m E.J, an enthusiastic, positive and dedicated Personal Trainer, committed to working with clients to achieve their goals in an effective and maintainable way. I come from a background of athletics, running and dance and have been training hard in the gym using a mixture of weight training and functional training for around 4 years now. Having just graduated from university with a teaching degree last month, I understand how difficult it is to fit a healthy lifestyle around a busy life and other commitments; that is why my aim is not only to help you reach your goals, but to help you develop habits and routines so your positive changes are maintainable in the long term. My clients are the centre of what I do and I will give them all the knowledge and tools I can so they can thrive and reach/surpass their expectations physically and mentally to make a change for good. If you want to have challenging, varied and enjoyable training sessions tailored to your specific goals, I’m your girl. My location is currently at a semi-private gym in Hessle however I am looking to expand to a gym in East Hull. I also train clients at home/ in the outdoors if that is their preference. I offer a range of services including; 1-1 PT sessions, small group sessions, parent child/ family sessions, training and nutrition plans, bulk PT and nutrition packages and much more. How do you help your clients achieve their fitness goals?

I help all my clients achieve their goals by setting a number of realistic and specific goals with them to work towards, some short term and some longer term. This means that on their way to hitting their ultimate goal, they are increasingly motivated by the fact that they are successfully achieving so many short-term goals.
I am also motivating and very open with my clients, this means we have a trusting relationship so any issues which may arise, we can work through together so clients continue to make progress. This personalised approach is key for me, as the 'personal' part of Personal Training is what makes the difference between results and fantastic results.

You must stay dedicated to the challenge, through the process you will learn, the more you learn and commit, the better understanding you have of your body and its needs to achieve your goals. For you to stay dedicated, there must be enjoyment alongside the challenge- this is the recipe for the body of your dreams.

What do you love most about your job?

1. Helping people, seeing their pride in their results and see their confidence grow throughout the process.
2. Teaching People- educating people through the process means they are well equipped to maintain their results and motivation in the long term.

What inspired you to start your own business?

I have a specific way of doing things which I find works well for clients. I felt I could do this more if I worked for myself with my own ethos. Working for myself also means I am more flexible for clients and have more time to dedicate to my own professional development as a trainer which will also benefit my clients.

Clients should choose me because I hold a wealth of varied first hand experience in sports and training. All my sessions are tailored specifically to you and your goals... I work for you so will ensure I am helping you to achieve the results you desire in a way which is best for you.
