I went to Dave after losing some weight as I wanted to learn how to lift weights safely. Dave was non judgemental, approachable, kind and very encouraging. Dave was flexible if I had to change sessions. I feel confident that I know what I am doing in the gym after 12 weeks with Dave. Dave also runs online coaching too. Hit him up, he is ace. I approached Dave for a workout programme that would build me strength and can be transitioned into my martial arts. His plan was easy to follow and have benefited me massively helping me to earn my latest martial arts belt. Dave know what he’s doing and happy to guide as long as you need it. He is always available to give advice and answer any questions I have. You feel like you are truly getting knowledge and experience of a high standard. Can't recommend this enough.. Just getting back into training after the 7 million lockdowns we've had.. Great workouts varied every session. . With positive reinforcement, realistic expectations i.e. not everyone will eat perfectly 100% of the time or hit them everyday, Accountability in what I do and what the client does. I am open to constructive criticism as I know this is a really important way to learn and get better.

Setting goals that can be achieved within a certain time frame not thinking 'I need to lose X amount of weight by a certain date' but breaking that down into doable chunks such as losing 2 pounds in a week or making sure to hit your steps a week.

Not beating yourself up when you have a bit of 'junk' food.

Getting feedback from people who have hit and surpassed their goals, the happiness on their faces is something I really love to see.

I wanted to get in shape but didn't know where to start so after I hit the gym I really enjoyed it and I decided to do my Personal Trainer course so I could help others who are in the same boat that I was in.

I'm honest, I hold myself and the client accountable for the results and the journey to the goals, I work hard to help my clients achieve what they set out to do and I'm not a Sergeant Major, this is not a 'do what I say' we work together to get the plans perfect for you such as if there's an exercise you done like I will find an alternative to it that will give you the same results.

Yes, I will send over the plan via email (hopefully in the future on an app). When we do check ins it will be via email too where the client can give their feedback, what was good, what the didn't enjoy as much etc

If we do 1-2-1 sessions there are wipes for the machines and hand sanitizer dotted around the gym.
