I am an experience senior teacher with over 8 years experience at an outstanding independent school. Since August 2021 my full time role has been delivering online tutoring as The Prep School Online. We specialise in teaching children aged 4 to 16, whether they are aiming for the 11 plus, to get ahead of the national curriculum or in preparation for GSCE English and Maths.

I wanted to reach a wider demographic of children and teach across the key stages of education. The time spent honing online schooling during Covid, showed how much scope there was to deliver learning and progress children, with the convenience of them being online.
I am a senior teacher, with am excellent track record of teaching across a range of subjects and year groups. Added to this a bring a wealth of life experience to this profession, which is ever present in my lessons.
I have honed my online tutoring to deliver the maximum amount of subject matter and progress within each lesson and use best educational software, to ensure that I am as connected to your child's work, as if I were stood next to them in the classroom.
I only teach remotely - thereby giving you the freedom to have your children learn from wherever you are.
Fortunately - being online somewhat helps with this!

Ricky started to tutor my son for Maths and English a few months back We were worried we hadn't arranged this sooner as my son approaches GCSES. A few weeks into the tutoring he had another set of mocks and his grades had already improved. Ricky is very calm and explain things very well. The 121 tutoring really helps my son engage and have the confidence to ask for help end explanation privately without feeling embarrassed. My son feels more confident and happy since starting tutoring with Ricky.

I have been with Annie for nearly 4 months months now, she is a lovely lady. She is patient and encouraging and doesn't expect you to be perfect at what your learning (which takes pressure off of me as used to get tense before my lessons). She always tries to settle me down before my lessons starts as I get very nervous. You can message her anytime, send her videos, and ask for videos for a song your doing, ask her anything and she always answers. If you can't do an arranged lesson she will rearrange it for you so you don't lose money because you can't take your lesson. Lovely, friendly lady. I'm in my 60's the brain doesn't work fast these days, but she has the patience of an angel, and I am so glad I decided to have my lessons with her.
