The average price of a Tutor
I enjoy tutoring and helping people especially young ones and helping them to build confidence in themselves. I am highly positively minded and very enthusiastic about bringing out the best in the people I tutor. I am also very creative with teaching concepts and methodology hereby making every topic as easy and enjoyable as possible. Presently, I tutor Students ranging from year 2 to A-levels in Mathematics & further maths.
Honestly, would have to give Yetty 5 stars, as she was such a great tutor, really helped me in the areas i needed, was patient with me when i didn’t understand how to do something, and found different ways to explain things to me, in a way which i would be able to comprehend. Was such a lovely tutor, learned a lot with Yetty, and would really recommend her for anyone that is looking for a good Maths Tutor!!

First Class Learning, Northampton, Kingsthorpe
First Class Learning Northampton, provides tailored Maths and English tuition for learners from age 5 through to GCSE with pace and content individualised for each student. We work from our tuition centre in Kingsthorpe where our tutors will guide students through their program, building confidence in the topic and only moving to new material once learning is embedded. My name is Carol Moffitt and I am the centre manager.
My daughter started with Carol during the second term of her maths GCSE, she was really struggling to the point of feeling totally lost and feeling maths wasn't for her. My daughter made huge progress quickly and by her final year had been moved from the foundation to the GCSE group. She gained the grade she needed and regained her confidence and great learning skills that now serve her across all subjects. My daughter also consolidated and improved her English skills with Carols' support and gained a top grade.
I am an enthusiastic science and maths tutor with 5 years of tutoring experience. I have a degree in Biomedical Science from the University of Birmingham and I am a current medical student. I am able to tutor maths and science up to A-level.
My previous experience shows I can greatly improve a child's knowledge of a subject, increase confidence levels and hopefully bring some fun to maths and science through my passion for the subjects.
My daughter has her last GCSE tomorrow and to be honest without the help of two fantastic science tutors through “New Wave education” I’m not so sure she would have handled the science exams as well as she has. She was really struggling 9 months back and so glad we made the decision to give her extra help. If anyone’s son/daughter is struggling with a particular subject I highly recommend contacting New Wave Education
Feedback from parents ...Thank you for the wonderful work you are doing with Latisha. Its wonderful to see how she has and continues to move on in her studies. Latisha has developed so much confidence that even with her home work she is able to do it without any assistance from us. Thank you once again. JaneI'm really sorry that I won't be seeing you tonight as I know that it is Andrew's last lesson. My son has much more confidence with doing his work by himself without a parent's input. His school work has shown tremendous improvement. Thank you loads!!!"AshaTwo of my children have attended Kip McGrath (Northampton). My 11 year old boy thoroughly enjoyed his English and maths tuition and felt very prepared for KS2 SATs. My 13 year old girl is dyslexic and having extra help with her English. They both had fun and enjoyed working with their tutor, Sian.Sharon
