How do you help your clients achieve their fitness goals?

I focus on building a customized fitness journey for my clients so they can see a clear road map of how they'll achieve their goals. Fitness should contribute and add to your life, not take away or take over your life. This is why we'll build a program around you, your lifestyle, work and family committments.

What’s the secret to getting the body of your dreams?

The true secret of getting in your best shape is to do something which you enjoy and can see progress every week doing without sacrificing everything else you love in life. Most people believe in order to get in shape and healthy you must live like a monk for years, this is not true whastsoever! We'll show you how to get the results you desire, feel ontop of the world whilst doing so and all without the stress of trying to figure out what works yourself.

What do you love most about your job?

I love seeing my clients become more confident as the weeks pass. The aesthetic changes are incredible, but there's nothing quite like seeing someone come out of their shell, believe in themselves more, have better self-esteem and a higher self-worth. I love seeing how fitness positively impacts other areas of my clients lives; work, relationships, hobbies, chasing new challenges, more confidence, more productive etc.

What inspired you to start your own business?

I am a lifetime martial artist and was a really good kickboxer when I was young, but I was very skinny and undersized. So I started lifting to get stronger and improve my physicality. Through that journey I fell in love with training and the feeling it give me seeing results in the mirror. I started learning more about training and nutrition and would help my mates in the gym, this is where I found I had a passion for coaching others. So I signed up for my personal training course, qualified, had a crazy roller coaster 2 years then found my footing and everything took off to the point where I opened my own private personal training facility where we now have 15 PT's and help over 450 clients every week.

What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?

The research shows the healthier and fitter you are the less likely you are to get covid-19. Throughout the lockdowns I was a part of the campaign to keep gyms open as the research shown that gyms were only responsible for 2% of the infection rate (despite people believing heavy breathing in gyms would cause the opposite). I take the same evidence based approach in my personal training with clients. I go off what the science says. I witnessed first hand a lot of our clients struggled with their mental health and also physical health by not being able to attend the gym. I too expeirenced this and was in a dark place.

Although home workouts are a good tempoary alternative, unless you have a really good home gym setup, you will not get the same level of results from bodyweight home workouts. Any PT who says otherwise is not being truthful.

I work with men who want to build muscle, look leaner and more athletic and overall have a better shape in their frame and this is very difficult to achieve from home workouts.

To summarize:
I am pro-safety / social distancing
Not the biggest fan of home workouts if you want great and fast results
I believe getting out the house for an hour to work on your body and mind is one of the most powerful and healthy things you can do and something I think everyone should prioritize
