Dogs are never kept in cages while waiting for their owners to arrive. Instead, we use specially designed pens to help them feel calm and comfortable. I am extremely passionate about animal welfare. I pride myself on the high-standard of care & services. I offer top quality, one to one dog grooming in a relaxed environment. I have always loved dogs from an early age & I have a Jackapoo called Jasper and a Miniature Schnauzer called Smokey. Having worked at the RUH Bath Hospital for 8 years and caring for patients which I have loved doing, I decided to take the plunge & have a change of career. I have wanted to open a dog grooming salon and doggy day care for number of years but due to covid this was paused until after restrictions were lifted.
Dogs are not kept in cages while they are waiting for the owners to arrive, we have specially designed pens so they are made to feel happy. Weather dependant, they will have access to the enclosed artificial grass area outside.
All the products we use are free of parabens, sulphates, bleach, soap. Each treatment is individually catered for your dog's breed, skin type, coat & age to ensure we provide the best service for you and your dog.
Services are able to be booked remotely by me or online. Appointments are able to be made online or over the phone.
Salon is deep cleaned daily, equipment cleaned after each dog, hand sanitizer is located at enterance.

We had a visit today from the lovely Gentle Paws ladies, as our Spitzpoo, Cherry, was in need of a groom. She is so anxious when we leave her anywhere, she absolutely hates going to the groomers, especially! So we thought we would see how she got on with a home visit. I must I say I was so impressed with how Marta and Jen were with our Cherry. They came with all their equipment & were so gentle & loving, lots of encouragement and they took their time to work at her pace changing up where necessary. Within 20 mins she stopped being so anxious and actually seemed to enjoy the attention! She seemed relaxed and that is so important to us. The ladies were open to our comments and suggestions but we trusted their expertise and we were not disappointed at all. Overall very impressed with their service and will be booking in regularly without the guilt I used to feel having her groomed!

We had a great experience working with Gala. Over the course of two weeks, we saw noticeable improvements in Bella’s behaviour. Gala was attentive, pointing out areas where we could make further progress (confidence building), and provided us with helpful training videos to follow at home. She also followed up with us on Bella’s progress and provide additional training advice. We’re excited to continue working with Gala to improve Bella’s training!

We had the absolute pleasure of working with Gala, and we truly couldn’t be happier with the experience. From the very beginning, Gala went above and beyond in every way. Her professionalism, patience, and genuine care for our dog Alfonzo stood out immediately. She not only helped him make real progress, but also made us feel confident and supported throughout the process. The training was tailored, thoughtful, and delivered with so much dedication. Alfonzo has grown so much, and it’s all thanks to her consistent guidance and encouragement. We’re continuing with the ongoing training and feel really positive about it because of the solid foundation Gala helped us build. We’ve had such a great experience and genuinely couldn’t recommend her more highly. Thank you, Gala, and thank you Tail Tales for such an incredible service!
