We are a small salon based in the heart of Penistone offering clients with dogs a one to one service. We have a unique whirlpool spa just made for dogs along with different spa treatments. We offer personality haircuts, along with general grooming and clipping, bathing drying etc. Her at Dogzi we are city and guilds qualified and do not like to overcrowd our salon with dogs.

I'm a regular customer at Dogzi and I have nothing but praise for Julia and what she does. She has a natural connection with dogs, (trust me, one of our lovely pooches is testing when he's grumpy lol). The salon is equipped fully and beyond with so much equipment, etc. Our dogs smell divine when they come home and their coats look beautiful. I highly recommend Julia for all the work she does and the time she puts into her business. Everything from a breed standard trim to Asian Fusion is on offer, and believe me, the AF looks amazing when it's done. I can't thank Julia enough for what she does.

From booking to the end of the appointment, Mel was nothing but caring, friendly and obviously barmy about dogs! She made Valli, a ‘new to us’ rescue dog feel and look like a princess. Mel is so knowledgeable about all breeds of dogs and gave great advice to me, while also constantly reassuring the dog. The equipment she uses is top notch and in this time of heightened safety, her reassurance about the cleaning and hygiene regime is second to none. I would thoroughly recommend a visit to Grange Groomers ....we certainly will be regular customers. Thank you!
How often does my dog need to be groomed?
How often your dog needs to be groomed will depend on the breed of dog and the length of its hair. On average, a dog should be groomed around once a month. However, dogs with longer coats will need grooming more regularly whilst dogs with shorter coats may not need grooming as often. It’s important to groom a young dog or puppy regularly so that they become used to being groomed and to avoid future problems.
Are Pet Groomers mobile?
Although many pet groomers have a set location that they operate from, there are also many mobile pet groomers. These groomers operate from a van which is equipped with all of the equipment required for grooming. They will park outside your home and groom your pet within the van.
How long does it take to groom a dog?
How long it takes to groom a dog will depend on the breed of the dog and the length of its hair. On average, it takes around 2 hours to fully groom a dog. However, for dogs with long, thick hair, it could take significantly longer, whilst for dogs with short hair it may be faster.
